Good Wednesday morning. We're starting out cooler.
Drier air is in place and it's just
going to look really great today.
There's no other way to explain it and overall really pleasant for
the rest of the week. Now we do have a couple
of disturbances in the coming days. The first
is a weak cold front tomorrow evening,
bringing some clouds and barely a drop of rain. And then
going into the weekend,
there is another upper level system that'll move in. Models not in
agreement on where it's located.
So that is going to play a huge role into just how much cloud cover
And how much rain we could actually see.
I do think we will have more clouds in general,
both Saturday and Sunday.
So those highs will be a little bit lower.
Mornings are still great.
And I've added in at least some low shower
chances late Saturday, Saturday night.
Bottom line, we're seasonal.
We've got good mornings, 40s, 50s, afternoons, 60s, 70s.
This is what November should be.
So 73 today, still above that average.
Tomorrow, warmer out ahead of our front, but still comfortable.
The air is still dry.
So even though we've got this front coming in,
I just don't think we have enough moisture
to work with to produce significant rain.
What it will do is help drop those temperatures
a little bit more, closer to normal.
And then thanks to the clouds, 60s to about 70 for highs this weekend.
Right now, we've got upper 40s and low 50s.
Almost everywhere, the exception Dallas and Fort Worth are still at 55,
but 48 is the cooler spot in Gainesville, 49 Hillsboro,
51 in Greenville, 53 in Paris, actually Sulphur Springs, 57 there.
We will see these numbers drop
a couple more degrees before the sun comes up because we
don't have much going on right now.
It's mainly clear, and all we have are just
a little thin veil of high clouds moving through
the panhandle.
That will head our way.
Winds are light out of the northwest today,
bringing in those high clouds.
I still think it'll be mostly sunny.
And then here's the next system.
So out ahead of this, southerly winds develop.
We'll start tomorrow with sunshine,
but more clouds will move in as the day goes on, and
then the tail end of that front will get here.
So throughout the morning it's fantastic, mainly clear.
We'll see some high clouds mixed with all that sunshine.
Upper 60s to about 70 at lunchtime.
Northwest winds only 5 to 10 miles an hour.
So patio weather? Yeah. Eat outdoors for lunch today.
And then highs in the low to a few spots mid 70s.
I've got us at 73. And thanks to the light winds
and clear skies tonight, we will cool off.
Wonderful. Even though the wind direction becomes more out
of the south, I still think we'll see some 40s to about mid 50s for DFW
and then a warmer afternoon,
mid to upper 70s for highs tomorrow with that southerly breeze.
More clouds as well.
We'll call it partly sunny for the afternoon into early evening.
We'll go to mostly cloudy skies with this front coming in.
And at best, an isolated shower.
I just think the air is too dry for anything more than that.
And it's really just for the northern two row of counties.
So from Dallas and Fort Worth southward,
I don't have a rain chance in tomorrow evening.
This moves through.
Another push of drier air will move in.
So we end our work week looking lovely and feeling good.
And the only fly in the ointment this weekend.
If you have outdoor plans, just a lot of cloud cover at times.
So for now, this is it.
This 10% rain chance tomorrow evening.
And then all eyes will be on this disturbance for the weekend with more
clouds and low shower chances late Saturday and Saturday night.
