It started off very warm.
I think it still is warm,
but we also got the clouds and some rain.
You know how I know it's too warm?
The spiders are still alive.
I know, and moving.
Nothing has killed them yet.
Yes.
And even over the weekend, I saw lots of bees out.
Remember how awful those were?
How are your pumpkins at your house?
Do you have any of those?
Oh, no, no.
We had to get rid of ours.
Mine is mine.
It's like got liquid coming out of it.
And I'm like, oh.
Talk about spooky.
I'll deal with it later.
Yeah.
It's just been so warm.
We went to go set out our carved pumpkins after
the weekend, and they were just mush.
So, no more.
We will be doing a lot of raking, though, for those of you
who have trees that are just now starting to drop their leaves.
That's my yard right now.
Between the wind and the rain,
there's not going to be much more, unfortunately.
And we still have some light rain lingering across southeast Wisconsin,
although an improved view as we look downtown.
Even almost, dare I say,
a little brighter as we look off into some of our inland areas.
Now, we're sitting in the mid-60s right now,
so that, again, has been a big factor with today.
Yes, it's been so rainy and drizzly and dreary,
but it's also been mild, almost, you know,
early fall, late summer type feel out there.
Have not picked up a ton of rainfall. Milwaukee actually one
of the spots closer to about a quarter of an inch.
Same with here in Brown Deer at the station.
Madison actually saw a pocket of heavy rain move through.
So over three tenths of an inch.
But most spots have really only picked up a tenth
or two of rainfall accumulation.
Now, the steady widespread batch now towards the north and out.
Out over the lake, but we still have isolated
to scattered showers in the vicinity, and as we zoom out,
there's still plenty more south of us, plenty more west of us.
In fact, we'll need to watch what's in Illinois
because that's going to continue to move northward,
and we have a batch in southwest Wisconsin.
So essentially, as you are out and about this evening,
just keep your umbrella handy, jacket with a hood, the rain boots.
We're still going to need it for a few more days.
Our cold front is now stalled out towards the west,
and that is going to keep a rain
Rain chances throughout Wednesday as well
as at least the first half of Thursday.
Now for Friday, high pressure out towards the west moves
in and that's going to bring us sunshine throughout the weekend.
It's also going to bring us some cooler temperatures,
though, once this cold front passes out ahead of that front.
Yes, we're mild still in the 60s and we're looking similar tomorrow.
But you can already see a little taste of some
of that cooler air behind the cold front.
And we could absolutely.
In fact, we are expecting to see some of that reach our area tomorrow.
High still in the 60s, which
is well above normal Thursday in the 50s and Friday.
Some may actually fall short of 50.
So some cooler air certainly on the way.
Anyway, let's check in with Sky Vision Plus.
The rain here scattered rain showers throughout the remainder
of your evening, your overnight and on into Wednesday.
However, I do think we see more dry time Wednesday compared to today.
So just a few isolated to scattered showers
also still going to be breezy with highs in the sixties.
Now Thursday morning, different story.
I think some of that steadier rain is back in our area,
but then we will begin to dry out later Thursday night
and Friday as a high pressure starts to move in.
And that's again, when we'll really start
to see temperatures dropping, we'll really feel it.
Thursday, especially with the strong wind,
and then Friday is going to be that coolest day,
then temperatures will gradually climb into the weekend.
But cooler than where we are today
and some of that nicer weather we had over the last week or so.
Now, the remainder of your
election evening, again, polls still open for a few more hours,
just a little bit of rain,
but nothing compared to what we've had over
the last couple of hours. And the best part is that
Really won't move much, so mild temperatures through the evening.
Your full six-day planner showing a chance
of showers both Wednesday and Thursday,
but by Friday, sunshine should return by the afternoon.
That's going to be our coolest day,
and Saturday's still a bit cool as well,
but then we'll gradually warm.
In fact, by Monday of next week, southwest wind kicks back in.
We could be close to 60, so all in all,
we'll just call it more fall-like,
more seasonal for this time of year.
Back to you guys.
