Idaho Gov. Brad Little speaks at election night event
Nov 4, 2026
To our campaign team, volunteers, supporters,
everyone who knocked on doors, made phone calls,
put up signs, helped get out the vote, thank you.
You worked hard, and tonight we celebrate.
Our success the last eight years has been a team effort.
Due to our incredible staff,
and I have sincere thanks for all the people that are serving me today
and have served me for the last eight years.
You just don't do these things by yourself.
But most importantly, I want to thank the people of Idaho.
I'm humbled to have your support and grateful for your confidence.
I'm proud to have the opportunity
to continue to serve this great state.
Tomorrow's, tonight's decision results send a clear message.
Idahoans want to keep moving forward.
They believe in the direction the state is headed.
They believe in Idaho values.
And they rightfully expect us to keep delivering.
The past eight years, we've accomplished much.
Idaho has one of the strongest economies in the country.
Our jobs are projected to outpace
the national average for years to come.
Our average hourly wage increase
is the third largest increase in the nation.
Household incomes are rising, and Idaho continues to attract
young people who want to build their futures right here in Idaho.
We've delivered historic tax relief,
returning billions to Idaho taxpayers.
We've done all this while maintaining one
of the strongest fiscal positions in this country.
Idaho continues to rank among the top 10 states
for the overall lowest tax burden.
We balance our budget, we live within our means,
and we make decisions with the next
generation in mind.
That's what responsible government looks like.
We've also made important investments
in the things that matter most to Idaho families.
We've strengthened education, improved literacy,
expanded opportunities through launch, and
worked to make healthcare more accessible and affordable.
We supported law enforcement, strengthened public safety.
And seen significant declines
in crime across every single major category.
We have continued to protect the things that make Idaho special.
Our public lands, our water, our agriculture,
our communities, and our way of life.
None of this happens by accident,
and none of it happens because of one person.
It happened because we have the people in this state
who believe in personal responsibility and individual liberty.
And folks, I'm not done yet.
8 years ago we set out to make Idaho an even better place to live,
work and raise a family
and build a business.
Tonight we can look back with pride on how far we've come,
but we should even be more
excited about our future.
Thank you everyone for believing in Idaho.
Thank you for giving me the incredible privilege
to serve as your governor.
God bless you, God bless Idaho,
and God bless the United States of America.
