Less, but we are still going to watch again.
Some isolated drizzle that could be moving in near
the border through the morning hours. As we look at Sky Vision Plus,
we're going to continue through the rest of your weekend.
I will say today looks to be a little bit better than yesterday in part
because one, we really don't have much in terms of rain for the rest
of the day other than a few sprinkles this morning. But second,
we could start to see some of those clouds break up a little more
as drier air will move in and that could give us a little more sunshine.
We still are going to have mostly cloudy conditions, though,
for areas as we head through the afternoon and even tonight.
But what we are tracking heading into Monday
is a change in the weather pattern.
Through the rest of the week, very active weather is going
to start to set up late Monday afternoon and evening.
So enjoy the morning hours while we are continuing
to have a drier morning and early afternoon set up.
But then we are going to be tracking
a slow moving low pressure system heading our way. That will bring
in an area of more widespread rain from west to east Monday late.
Afternoon through the evening hours
and it's going to continue again to be scattered to
widespread at times for your Tuesday into Tuesday afternoon
and Tuesday evening as well.
There is the chance of maybe some embedded rumbles
of thunder Monday night through Tuesday,
but we are not looking at severe weather right now.
The biggest impact we are going to have is
rain that could be three quarters of an inch again,
just depending on where the track of this
low is and how long it is going to linger sitting in place.
So we're going to watch
that. But notice our rain chances really look to spike up
on the higher end Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
There is still likely going
to be some recirculating precipitation Thursday and maybe Friday,
just depending on how quickly we can push it off to the east.
So needless to say, you'll probably want the rain jacket,
especially the umbrella every single day this week
and take advantage of some of the dry time like today while you can.
Here's the other big picture, though.
Warm front to our north, high pressure to our east.
Both of that is going to be bringing us
Southerly winds, which is going to boost
our temperatures well above average.
Especially for the first day of the new month.
Temperatures right now are in the 40s and 50s.
But we should be getting towards the mid 60s today.
And because some of the clouds will stick around tonight.
Temperatures drop into the upper 50s by 7.
Possibly a few upper 40s.
Especially inland by tomorrow morning.
So not only is it going to be rainy and stormy the upcoming days.
But very windy Monday, Tuesday.
Keep that in mind.
Again, chance of showers will stay with us through the week.
We should see that depart.
Whether that be Friday or into the upcoming weekend,
but at that point in time, what we are expected to have
is temperatures that will be back to average in the low 50s.
Again, we haven't had the low 50s for a while,
so it will feel like a big change.
