Halloween night, a lot of people out and about, hopefully
in their costumes, and if they are, Holly, would they have needed
a layer or two, depending on how late they're staying out?
Uh, tonight, I still feel like it's going to be chilly,
so maybe like a jacket, a hoodie, I think will do you okay.
Otherwise, though, it's not going to be freezing.
I think we'll stay in the 50s for a majority of the night.
Now, when we wake up tomorrow morning, we will warm back up,
and this time, we actually get back to the 60s.
Along with that is we get that extra hour of sleep.
This is just another reminder for you to set your clocks
an hour back tonight because time will be changing.
On Sunday, so within the next couple of hours,
it'll be 2 o'clock a.m. twice.
So the clock will go to 2 a.m., then it'll be 2 a.m. again.
So that's kind of how the clock's going to change
for you to get that extra hour of sleep.
And don't miss out on it, especially if you're
a person that likes to get your sleep like me.
Looking at our Halloween stats here, we are pretty much trending
average around 53 on Halloween and then 39 for our low temperatures.
We've had warmer times or warmer days.
In the past, on Halloween, 80 degrees,
also cooler days for a record of 20 degrees.
And snow is not unheard of.
We just got really lucky this year.
Looking at our almanac, we're at 62 degrees here
in Milwaukee for a high temperature today.
Normal temperature is 55, and we're almost there.
We're right below that now.
We're at 54 degrees with calm wind tonight.
Dew points are at 47.
And our visibilities are nice and clear.
Looking at those temperatures, too,
across southeast Wisconsin, we really still are in the 50s.
And we're going to overall stay in the 50s
for a majority of our viewing area.
Some of these areas that are right at 50 could drop
to the upper 40s before the night is over.
So those areas will be a little bit cooler,
mainly the inland areas and areas to the north.
Now, the areas that you notice here by the lake,
those will stay at least in the lower 50s.
Now, looking at our temperatures
and how they'll change over the next few days,
Over the next 24 or how they've changed over the last 24 hours,
I should say, you'll notice here 13 degrees warmer today in Sheboygan,
more about two degrees warmer here in Milwaukee.
So we're not seeing significant changes.
And even places like Burlington, they are trending five degrees cooler.
Janesville, two degrees cooler.
Looking at our temperatures and how they'll trend throughout tonight.
This is specifically for Milwaukee.
We're going to be in the 50s.
Not really going to be changing too much from where we already are.
Temperatures may drop another degree or so.
And we'll be in the lower 50s
for our low temperatures before we start to warm up tomorrow.
Not going to warm up that much,
but we'll at least see 60s to come back.
Looking at our satellite and radar, we are nice and dry.
Finally, we've had nothing but scattered showers all day today.
We did get an opportunity for dry times.
Hopefully, you were able to get out and enjoy.
Some of those Halloween festivities,
like trick-or-treating and maybe even a festival or two,
that weather is going to be trending a little bit more
on the quieter side moving ahead for tonight.
Let's look at it here on our Sky Vision Plus.
We go throughout tonight staying pretty quiet.
Could maybe get a sprinkle or two early Sunday morning.
This is as early as about 5:30 in the morning.
That kind of fizzles out rather quickly.
We'll have partly sunny sky conditions
as we head throughout our Sunday's forecast.
So with that being said, Partly Sunny means...
We're going to have partial sunshine.
So you see all of these clouds, but within that,
we will get some of those peaks of sunshine through those clouds.
A few more of those scattered showers later on on Sunday night.
Majority of that rain doesn't arrive really until Monday.
So Monday afternoon is when we'll start
to see more of a widespread range for that rain.
Now, looking at our six day planner here,
that rain does continue into next week.
And we keep those temperatures
in the 60s up until the later half of the week.
That is when we'll see temperatures dropping back
to what's normal in the 50s by Thursday and Friday.
So you need the umbrella.
So you need to keep it close.
Even though tomorrow is dry,
you'll need the umbrella for the upcoming week.
So definitely keep that handy.
