Halloween costumes aren’t just for humans, but fur babies too
Oct 31, 2026
Good boy. We're here today at the Fredericton SPCA's Petpalooza.
It's happening Halloween,
that's why we're all dressed up like this.
There are so many adorable pets here today,
all dressed up in costumes.
We've seen pets dressed up as hot dogs and angels.
There's a little bit of everything.
Roo is a dinosaur today with a nice little tail.
Good to see you.
Good to see you.
Well, it's Halloween. He has another costume for tonight,
and this is his daytime costume.
We're going trick-or-treating tonight with him.
He's going to be a lobster tonight.
You're welcome.
Oh, she loves wearing a costume. Just not nothing on her head.
Oh, she's been a bee since she's grown up.
She's always been a bee.
I bought a costume, and I just use it once a year.
Bo is my soul dog.
He is a taco.
Life doesn't always go your way,
and sometimes tacos can just get messy and fall apart, and
we still love tacos, right?
Yes.
Yeah.
Thank you.
He says I'm not a big Halloween boy. He's just the best boy.
He's got the golden eyes that he just
loves everybody and he just sees right into your soul
when you look at him, yes.
And he says, mom, why did you bring me here?
There's so many people. Yeah, can you say hi?
Hi, yeah, yeah.
This is Brooks. He's a four year old lab.
He's my first dog and I did all the training for him.
So he's a little vain. He likes to show off his costumes a lot.
He has a bunch at home. He has a dragon.
He has this hat and he has a cowboy hat.
He just likes to show off and kind of share himself with the rest
of the world because he thinks he's the center of the universe.
He's going to go trick or treating because there's houses
in my neighborhood that give out milk bones and he knows it.
So we're going to go trick or treating.
And he gets to see more people and have a good time
and be the vain self that he is.
And how do you feel about the Petpalooza revel?
Is that a double?
