Cloudy skies this morning. The models flip-flopping all week long.
Is it going to rain? Is it not?
Is it going to rain? Well, we are going to be
Pretty much rain-free for most of the weekend, but I do see
a shot coming our way, and I'll show you that here coming up.
Coastal Flood Advisory extended now until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Next high tide, 3:44 this afternoon for our low-lying areas adjacent
to the bay, as well as the coastline.
Do expect some inundation once again.
A view of the system that is bringing a little bit
of wet weather from areas near the Pacific Northwest all
the way down into Southern California.
Really, Southern California and the desert southwest.
Going to get hit the hardest when it comes to rainfall amounts.
And here's a look at the Futurecast model
into the evening hours from San Luis Obispo
County into Los Angeles, off to the Sierra and beyond.
You can see covered in green.
And then you get to our area.
And this is what we're seeing.
Our trick-or-treaters look good.
Our early evening festivities, no problem.
But if you're going to be out late tonight,
as the timestamp shows you, 11 o'clock, this
is expected to come ashore.
So I would say between 11.
11 o'clock into the overnight hours and even tomorrow morning we
could still have a few lingering showers before this pushes out
and we are dry for the rest of your Sunday.
In addition to rainfall, we are going to get snow in the Sierra.
Snow levels are going to drop all the way down
to lake level with just an inch or two expected there.
But some of the higher peaks.
It could come away with half foot to a foot of new snow.
There is a winter weather advisory
for the West Slope, I-80, and Highway 50
that will go now until tomorrow morning.
It expires at 7 a.m.
Rainfall amounts for us, you can see, not a whole lot.
Tenth of an inch or less expected.
Temperature-wise across the region this morning, off to a chilly start.
42 degrees in the North Bay of Santa Rosa.
For the inner East Bay, Livermore, you are checking in at 48.
And along our coastline, Santa Cruz, good morning.
50 degrees outside your door.
Afternoon highs for today, a little bit cooler than yesterday.
Upper 50s near Pacifica, 61 in San Francisco, low 60s in Fremont,
mid 60s expected for the South Bay of San Jose.
Your extended forecast here.
Temperatures won't change much as we roll into your Bay Area Sunday.
Remember, we do fall back with the clocks.
Set them back.
And with that said, a sun will set tomorrow afternoon at 5:10.
In the evening, we will have dry weather on Monday, Tuesday, increasing
clouds and a chance for scattered showers returning to the Bay Area.
