Kitten thrown from car, saved by couple who found her

Welcome back. A heartwarming update tonight to a story we first told you about this summer. A kitten tossed out of a car has a new family. Local rescue saved the cat and nursed it back to health. And now the couple who saw her thrown from the car welcomed her home. Esther Bauer has that. Safe, secure, and smothered with love by her new family. Want to make her happy and give her a happy home. She deserves it because at just six months old, this kitten has been through a lot. I thought it was a plastic bag that was kind of just like blown across the road. Sam Pecora and his wife, Elissa, watched in horror when they realized the bag had a living creature inside. And she looked like she had been injured when we saw her run off. Thankfully, the Kitten Angel Rescue found the injured cat in time and spent months helping her heal. Fox 35 first met Aurora in July. She was named after the intersection where she nearly died. It's just such a shame that somebody can feel that they can do something like that. evil like that, but evil didn't win in this case, Aurora made a full recovery and is loving life with a new family who loves her right back. I think she's adjusted well to us too. And this couple really wants people to know there are resources out there. If you cannot care for a pet anymore, local rescues or an animal shelter are a much better call than throwing something away like trash. Reporting in Brevard County, Esther Bauer, Fox 35 news.
