Oh, but boy, Sunday, it looks like it is going to be very wet.
Meteorologist Noah Bergeron tracking it all.
Very, very wet, Noah.
That is a lot of color on the radar for Sunday.
It is.
Good thing it's not tomorrow for Halloween in the walk.
But I want to stress tomorrow is the pick day of the weekend
because Sunday is trended wetter.
Every new piece of forecast data, I look at Sunday is rainier so.
You mean that is the day to do outdoor things?
It's tomorrow.
Got you.
Sunday's trending a lot wetter.
Like all day, morning through night?
I'd say midday and beyond for Sunday.
I mean, any dry time Sunday would
be pretty limited to very early in the morning.
But it is Halloween Eve, and many of you
are probably wondering about the forecast for tomorrow
with trick-or-treating and evening plans.
Well, there you go.
Featuring your favorite Fox 35 Storm Team Dancing Skeleton.
We'll have a new one for you tonight coming up on the late news.
But talking about temperatures, 78 at 6 tomorrow, 76 at 8, 74 at 10.
You know, it's a great question
because I've ran into many of you here this week around Orlando,
and many people have said, man, it feels really warm.
The temperatures are not that high.
Well, it's the humidity that's sneakily come up a little bit.
In fact, tomorrow, the humidity takes a notable jump up.
So these temperatures, while you might go, oh, yeah, that's nice,
it's going to feel way warmer than it is because of the humidity.
Here's the view from my drive tonight.
It'll be a decent day at the theme parks tomorrow, but Sunday, eh.
Sunday is not an ideal day for that.
Tonight, for the most part, we're dry.
Around Orlando, things are clear right now.
One little teeny sprinkle right by Camping World Stadium.
You see that they're moving to the west.
The only real shower we've got right now is coming into Cape Canaveral,
and that's moving off to the west right now.
We'll track that shower into the Cocoa area about 7:03.
We've got that high school football game tonight
with Cocoa, so a brief shower.
Early in the game, that shower will
be towards Port St. John by about 7 or 8 p.m.
Some more notable showers down in South Florida.
You can see that there from West Palm down towards Miami.
And the rain over the past five days has
been really substantial on the eastern side of the state.
In fact, I'll put some numbers on here for you.
Look on the Gulf Coast.
It's been next to nothing.
Over towards West Palm, Fort Lauderdale,
up around Flagler Beach has been one to three inches of rain.
And that's because the wind's been blowing like this.
And all the showers come in from the Atlantic.
And as they move in, they fall apart,
working their way across the state.
Much of the southeast is dry tonight.
But I do want to point out this right here.
Here, that's the system.
It's going to bring us rain for Sunday.
It's going to move south, then northeast right at the Florida Peninsula
to close out the weekend and early next week.
And this right here is the remnants of what, in part, a few days ago,
was a tropical storm in the eastern Pacific
and will bring us a good amount of rain Sunday into Monday.
Temperatures waking up tomorrow low 70s, mostly cloudy.
Here's the future radar for Halloween tomorrow.
Here's the morning 830. I'll see you at the Making Strides
Against Breast Cancer Walk tomorrow coming up at about 7
a.m. All that for a great cause around Lake Eola should be dry.
Now as we go through the later part of the day, here's seven.
For the most part, dry outside of Brevard County.
But after about 9, we'll really start to pick up the showers tomorrow.
Notice through the overnight tomorrow night
into Sunday, we start to get showers.
This is in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
I do want to zoom you out quick and show you the Sunday Futurecast
because we're going to have low pressure that develops in the Gulf.
Not tropical. This is not a tropical system.
I know it may kind of look like one, but it's not.
This is 630 in the morning Sunday.
Look at this big area of rain.
That is going to slowly work its way across the state Sunday afternoon,
Sunday night into Monday.
We're going to get some good rain totals out of that, potentially some
localized flooding as well from about four or five inches of rain.
All right, so that will clear out of here
at some point late Monday or early Tuesday.
Temperatures next week for right now staying in the low to mid 80s.
Jack.
All right, Noah, thank you.
