Knicks, Warriors Roll as Winless NBA Teams Break Through

OK, we talked about it during just the picks last night on the show yesterday on the show about how betting on New York was a must. And look, the Pistons were undefeated. They did not have Jalen Duren. He was out. But I mean, the third quarter, second quarter, the Knicks came to life. They were down at the end of the first quarter and the second and the third quarter. They just dominated. They ran away with it. A 111-97 victory over the Pistons. The Knicks weren't going to open up 0-4. OK, the defending champs, they weren't going to go 0-4. Brunson had 23, Cat had 27 and 20. They outscored the Pistons in the second and the third quarters, 63 to 25, okay? So that's back-to-back days now in the NBA where teams with zero wins outperformed by a ways their opponent who was supposed to be the better team record-wise, right? So the Pistons were 3-0, now they're 3-1. The Golden State Warriors played the Denver Nuggets who were 2-1, and the Warriors were looking at an 0-4 start and we talked about it yesterday but you know the 0-4 start that would have been the first time the Warriors would have been 0-4 with Steph Curry in the NBA and what did they do they won the game by 30 they destroyed the thund the the the nuggets and they won the game by 30 now there are some opportunities coming up today we'll talk about here in just one second with teams that have zero wins that are in action tonight but last night you saw the lakers lose to the blazers the lakers uh-oh good start but you lose to the Blazers all of a sudden Portland's three and oh, they're three you know Luca had 41 last night, Ja Morant had 23, Damian Lillard had 21, Jrue Holiday had 22 off the bench in a 136 to 129 victory for Portland, the Celtics on a back-to-back had to go to overtime against the Brooklyn Nets and then Jason Tatum after all the nonsense about Jalen Brown and you got a good PR team and there's some you know meal references going on he had 40 including the game winner over the Brooklyn Nets, I mean Brooklyn had so many chances in overtime to win that basketball game they just couldn't close out the Celtics, so Boston gets a win, they do not cover by any means, Boston was a huge favorite in that game, they do not cover they shot two of 16 from the three-point line in the first half, I was on the first half team total at 59 and a half, it landed 56 and Boston shot two of 16 from three and it still almost got there and then the Kings have not won, they are still over for the season, the Spurs with a big win Wemby goes for 29, 10 and 5, Champagne goes for 26 with eight threes, Spurs with a big W and now the Kings are a team with an over with a zero in the win column Thank you.
