The Bengals just got SCARY news...

The Bengals just got scary news.
This player was nowhere
to be seen during Wednesday's practice, and the timing could
not be worse.
Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense could
be facing a major challenge, and here is what
we know up to this point.
Be sure to stick around to the very end,
because we're going to cover all of that here in today's
episode of Bengals Digest.
So thank you for joining in, wherever you may be across the world.
We really appreciate you guys helping us push closer
and closer to our goal of 6,000 subscribers.
We're getting really close, guys,
and it has been a journey to get to this point.
Feels like we've been pushing from 5 to 6K forever,
and we just appreciate the support
that you guys have shown, all the love in the comments and everything.
You know, we're doing it here on Bengals Digest.
We're bringing you guys the daily news,
and, you know, I'm happy to be here.
I'm happy to have you guys to interact with.
You guys are great.
audience um great people to talk to so i really appreciate
that so we're pushing forward heading
into the week against Tennessee
which looks on paper to be a pretty light matchup for the Bengals
we're not too concerned about it
but you know you definitely want to don't want to fall into a trap
game and get optimistic about something
that you really uh have to be on the lookout for with this
game um in terms of a trap game
and just you know Tennessee does have some talented players and they
can make you pay if uh if you don't do the right things
and you don't prep in practice correctly
so starting off today we're diving into Joe Burrow having
the Bengals offense rolling we talked about
it a little bit earlier this week just in terms
of what he did on Sunday just a dominant second
half performance arguably the best second
the best half of his entire career I mean he just
dominated it was seamless he looked efficient he wiped off
that entire first half that was
honestly the whole team struggled quite a bit in that first half
and it was great to see the
resilience of Joe Burrow and company to really be able to get it done
and I think it sets the pace
for the kind of attitude that the Bengals have
this season in terms of trying to be
a championship contender.
And we have some question marks that we got
to answer, and we're going to get to that
later today, specifically on the offensive side, but also defense.
And I think it's really something we got to look
at and adjust to heading in week by week.
Now, one of the strangest things about getting older
is that your energy, your focus, and
your recovery are just not what they used to be.
But it's a change that is so gradual, a decline that's
so gradual that you really don't notice it until it's too late.
And that is where today's sponsor, Mars Men, comes into play.
Mars Men uses clinically dosed ingredients like vitamin D,
zinc, boron, and a few others
to naturally support testosterone, energy, and stamina.
I've noticed that when I'm using it in the gym,
it really does help me out with recovery.
I recover quicker, I'm less tired,
and it gives me a good steady support without feeling like a
temporary caffeine boost,
getting all jittery and hyped up like pre-workout or an energy drink or
something like that. So for a limited time,

a little more about Joe Burrow's season obviously
looking at the numbers we've pulled these up
a couple times now QB rating not as good as it
possibly could be but still great stats for Joe Burrow
on the season thus far in a great game last
week against the Ravens a divisional opponent
which they're not an easy passing defense to
really put points on the board
and they were able to get it done now looking against the Titans in
terms of just some comparison the last two meetings Joe Burrow one
and a half touchdowns
on average and then season he's averaging two
and a half touchdowns per game so set to have a big
game against against the Titans
and it's a completely different Titans team than when the
Bengals last saw them so in terms
of where he throws he's really getting it all over the field
Joe Burrow is able to get it done I mean behind
the line 12 for 12 on that right side but then
you go zero to 19 yards and you see that he throws
the ball a lot right there now there's a lot on
the line in this game I know it's not a divisional game
but it is an AFC game and a game that really
matters in terms of standings the Bengals have
to win games like this that they're supposed to win
to be able to propel forward in this division every week matters
and it always does in the NFL
But this division is very tough right now.
Now, diving into the big news of today's episode,
Jamar Chase missed Wednesday's practice.
And so let's get into the updates on that.
Paul Deiner Jr. brought us this.
So the Bengals going through Wednesday practice in Prep for Tennessee.
There was no sign of Jamar Chase out there
for 30 minutes open to media.
That's expected.
We'll track down more info.
So, as far as we're aware, up to this point, at the time I'm recording,
there is no news on why he was not at practice.
It could be an injury he was dealing with previously,
earlier in the season,
or it could just be something completely unrelated and new.
I don't know. There's more information to come,
hopefully, later this week.
But, you look at his numbers up to this point in the season,
351 yards on 32 catches, and 5 touchdowns on top of that.
now looking at their depth chart
a little bit bruised up obviously we got Yoshi on IR
and then um Colby Young is also out as well
but looking at their depth chart the way that it looks
right now actually scratch that I apologize Colby Young
is back forgot that he was in that game he
just didn't have any stats so you know slipped my mind
but in terms of you know who's gonna be
playing you know of course you know how it goes Mitchell Tinsley
is in there uh Colby Young is
going to be in there and Dante Myers in terms
of that wide receiver core along with T Higgins of
course but I do think that this injury could provide good news
in the sense that we talked
about it last week about T Higgins making
a key impact should call him T Higgins that's a good
nickname for him but uh I think that he really
is set to have another big one especially if Jamar
chase doesn't end up playing
in this one i mean paul daner jr talks about how he often lives in
the shadows of jamar chase in the offense
but he's kind of become the star of the show and he's
really shifting into the spotlight at this point
in the season looking very good producing at a
very high level and i really expect
that to continue against the titans who have a pretty
week secondary 33 catches 571 yards 95.2 yards
a game he was well over 100 last week and 17
yards per catch i'm curious what you guys think
do you think chase brown depending on what we
find out about his injury do you think let him play
um do you think they can keep rolling against
tennessee even with chase being limited
or unavailable let me know in the comments yes or
no yes even if chase is limited
or no they need chase available i'm personally going to go with
yes i think that they can definitely keep it rolling especially
with the way t higgins has
been playing lately i think err on the side of caution
and if it is something that he's sitting
out of practice for you know
and it's injury related i think maybe you might need to sit him
this week against a team that you're expected
to be especially the way the other receivers are
playing coming back healthy a little bit the health
is trending upward at least for the bengals
uh the bye really helped out
with that so hopefully we don't deal with any more heading
forward but this is definitely scary
um hearing about jamar we're gonna have to find out more
in tomorrow's episode um and and throughout the week
and just kind of monitor it but we
gotta hear for you on Bengals Digest and be sure to stay tuned
