I'm Chief Meteorologist Brian McMillan. We're going to continue
to see on and off showers throughout the day today.
They'll lighten up a bit. We'll get plenty of dry time in the mix as well.
There's also a slight chance for thunderstorms
as we see some sunshine kind of mixing in that atmosphere.
Here is a look at our winter weather alerts up
in the mountains through about five o'clock this evening.
We have a winter weather advisory in effect.
Our first snow of the season down at Snoqualmie Pass and we're
also seeing snow at Stevens and White Passes. Yes, this is a
is great. We're going to be continuing
to see lower snow levels over the next few days through
Friday evening. We could see another two
to four inches of snow at the past levels, and this is
right on time. Usually we average late October to early November,
seeing our first snow of the
season at Snoqualmie Pass.
The latest we've had to wait was December 5th. That was back in 2002.
All right, today we'll top out into the 40s and 50s.
We're going to be looking at temperatures
in the 40s and 50s east of the Cascades.
You can expect mostly cloudy skies
down in Oregon this afternoon.
Tomorrow, cool showers continue.
And then Friday, we'll see those showers wrap up
just in time for the Halloween weekend
where we'll be looking nice and dry and partly cloudy.
But those nights are going to be chilly
with temperatures down into the 30s for most of us.
Have a great day.
