Iranian authorities have stepped up their rhetoric against the United States amid fears of a new military clash. At the same time, Tehran is attempting to dispel rumors about the health of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. Meanwhile, several countries in the region are undertaking diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation. Maariv reports this. A senior Iranian officials issued new warnings to Washington. The deputy speaker of the Iranian parliament stated that any US action against the Islamic Republic would be met with a harsh response.

Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made a similar statement earlier. He stated that any infringement on the country's sovereignty would lead to consequences that would exceed the expectations of Tehran's opponents. He also emphasized that threats of a full-scale war and the assassination of its leadership would not force Iran to abandon its interests.

Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council and former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, also criticized American policy. He stated that Washington had failed to ensure the security of any country in the region. Earlier, Rezaei also warned neighboring states against participating in US sanctions pressure. He said Iran could retaliate against countries that join in on economic restrictions. Amid tough statements against the United States, Iranian officials continue to respond to circulating rumors about the health of the country's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, who succeeded his father, Ali Khamenei.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf claims the new Supreme Leader is in good health and spirits. According to Iranian media, the two met last week to discuss military, economic, and political issues.

However, no public photographs were presented that would allow independent confirmation of Khamenei's health. Therefore, uncertainty surrounding his well-being remains, despite assurances from Iranian leadership. In parallel with the exchange of threats, diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing a new round of conflict in the Middle East continue.

According to The Washington Post, senior representatives from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan have arrived in Tehran for talks. Their goal is to find a diplomatic solution and prevent a new military confrontation involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
