More than 2,300 targets in four months: strikes on Russian army ammunition depots

Over the course of four months, fighters from the Artan special forces unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine destroyed and damaged more than 2,300 Russian army ammunition depots on one front line. Ukrainian soldiers posted a video of their combat operations against Russian targets on social media.
In just four months, FPV drone crews of the special forces destroyed and hit 2,308 targets in one area of the front, the special forces reported. Artana notes that for reconnaissance personnel, detecting a target is sometimes more difficult than destroying it. This is especially true for Russian ammunition depots—both field and stationary, located in the rear.
"Every strike is preceded by a multi-stage operation: searching for storage sites, staging points, and transport routes. Therefore, analysts and reconnaissance officers of the Artan special forces unit record the slightest changes in the terrain and employ unconventional analytical methods. Destroying ammunition depots in the immediate rear of the occupiers disrupts supply chains. The enemy on the front lines is left without shells and ammunition, which means their units lose the ability to fight," the special forces unit commented.
Recently, fighters from the “Timur Special Forces Unit” of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense carried out a counter-sabotage operation in the Zaporizhzhia sector. According to Ukrainian military intelligence, two groups of Russian special forces soldiers from the 10th Separate Guards Special Forces Brigade of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces were neutralized during the operation. “Thanks to successful intelligence work, including information obtained from within enemy ranks, as well as the use of technical reconnaissance means, Ukrainian military intelligence officers identified the composition of the enemy groups and their routes of movement,” the statement said.
Based on the intelligence gathered, fighters from the “Timur Special Forces Unit” set up an ambush to intercept the Russian special forces.
After detecting the enemy, the intelligence officers opened fire and cleared the area. One Russian special forces soldier was taken prisoner.
As a result of the operation, two groups of Russian special forces from the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces were neutralized.
