What You Need:

For cake:
1 box pound cake mix
1 can frosting
Black + Red food dye

For Mirror Glaze:

1 TBL plain gelatin
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup condensed milk
1 cup white chocolate
3/4 cup sugar
Red, black and yellow gel colors

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix pound cake mix according to box instructions. Dye red. Pour batter into a small parchment lined sheet pan. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean.

2. Once cakes are cool, punch out six hexagons. Ice them with desired frosting in a thin layer. Place in freezer for at least four hours.

3. To make the mirror glaze: bloom gelatin in 1/2 of your water. Place your water, sugar and condensed milk in a small saucepan. When it reaches a simmer, add your chocolate and gelatin. Turn off the heat. Blend with a stick blender or bar blender to remove all lumps.

4. Stir gently. Once it reaches around 94 degrees, place 1 tablespoon of glaze in a small bowl with a pour spout. Dye it yellow. Pour three tablespoons into another and dye is black. Pour the rest in a larger bowl and dye it red. Pour the black glaze into the red, and stir it once or twice.

5. Pour the glaze onto the frozen cakes. After about five minutes, pour on the yellow glaze. Allow it to set about 20 minutes.
