The Russians may intensify their assault near Borovoye, taking advantage of the good weather, and attempt to avenge the failure at Liman . Nikolai Volokhov, call sign "Abdula", commander of the TERRA group within the Third Army Corps, announced this on Ranok.LIVE .

According to him, the intensity of fighting near Borovaya of Kharkiv region remains high, and good weather allows the Russians to conduct active assaults.

He noted that the enemy continues to penetrate the Borovaya area to maintain constant pressure on Ukrainian positions. "They're calculating that if they keep pressing, we'll make a mistake somewhere, show weakness, and they'll have an opportunity to break through, but that's not the case," Volokhov said.

According to him, Operation Vivaldi forced the enemy to redistribute reserves, as it came as a surprise to them, and they had to transfer some forces, including from the direction of Borovoye, so that "they wouldn't be pressed even harder at Liman."

"There are very serious concerns that the Russians will try to somehow avenge the defeat they suffered at Limany, and while the weather is still good, they will attempt some kind of assault to ensure that the final blow falls to them. We are preparing for this; we know the likelihood of this is very high, and I don't think they will succeed," Volokhov said.

According to him, at the moment, Borova's main "task is to delay the Russians so they can't advance in the direction of Kharkiv," and Ukrainian soldiers are accomplishing this.

As reported, Joint Forces Group spokesman Viktor Tregubov noted that Operation Vivaldi, which the Defense Forces are conducting in eastern Ukraine, has forced the Russian occupiers to retreat , and the enemy will likely be forced to abandon its plans for an indefinite period.

He believes that the Russian withdrawal will significantly ease the pressure on the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, as the offensive on Liman was intended to put pressure on Slavyansk from the north. According to him, the key objective for the Russians was to capture Liman itself, but now that is no longer an option. Tregubov emphasized that the Russians are currently forced to retreat, which significantly disrupts their plans.
