Breakfast With Mama, Baseball With Bae ⚾💜/Dementia Caregiver Balance

Last Saturday, I took Mama her favorite oatmeal from McDonald’s and spent some quality time with her. 🍓 We laughed, talked, combed hair, played with her baby, and went LIVE then I walked her down to lunch at her memory care facility.

Caregiving doesn’t stop — I made space for both my mama and my marriage. After making sure Mama was good, I headed out to spend quality time with my husband at the Orioles baseball game. ⚾❤️

It’s not always easy to find the balance between being a dementia daughter and holding on to your own identity, relationships, and joy… but it matters.
