Emmys 2026 Watch Guide: channel, streaming, time, more

TV's biggest night is upon us and Page Six has everything you need to know ahead of the 2026 Emmys. Predictions, nominations, and who's hosting. That honor goes to Law & Order SVU legend Mariska Hargitay, the first woman in 15 years to host the Emmys. The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards will air Monday, September 14th live on NBC and streaming on Peacock, 8 p.m. Eastern, 5 p.m. Grab your broom because all signs point to a sweep for Apple TV's freshman series, Widow's Bay. At the Creative Arts Emmys, the horror-comedy already scored eight wins, including Betty Gilpin for Guest Actress in a Comedy. Also likely taking home trophies, Matthew Rhys, Kate O'Flynn, and Stephen Ruth. The race to watch is Widow's Bay versus Hacks for Outstanding Comedy Series. Hacks star Jean Smart may go 5-for-5 for playing the iconic Deborah Vance in the show's fifth and final swan song. Notably, Julia Louis-Dreyfus previously won six consecutive Emmys for a different HBO comedy, Feep. Other big shows to watch out for, The Pit with 25 noms, Pluribus with 18, Beef with 16, and DTF St. Louis with 13. Earlier this summer, the nominees list and the snubs surprised many TV viewers. Here's what we reported back in July. And we're standing here as proof that in Hollywood, talent comes in every height. You couldn't have worn flats? I'm actually kneeling right now. Big news, the 2026 Primetime Emmy nominations just dropped. Doing the honors were two of last year's winners, Jeff Hiller and Liza Colon-Zayas. Yes, chef. Page Six has the biggest surprises, and yep, a few snubs too, right here. It's no surprise that past Emmy darlings like Hacks and The Pit both pulled a slew of noms. Get this, four of The Pit actors were honored in a single category. For Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, we got Taylor Durden, Fiona DeReef, Katharina Lanasa, and Sepideh Mofi. It was also a good morning for Coleman Domingo, who scored two nominations for different shows. Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for Euphoria and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for four seasons. Despite sluggish reviews, The Bear Season 4 nabbed a few noms, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Lead Actress for Aya Odebrey, and a posthumous Guest Actor nod for the late Rob Reiner for his role in the FX series. The biggest surprise came from Chase Infinity. The 26-year-old was nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama for The Testaments, which is Hulu's sequel to The Handmaid's Tale. It's a surprise given that Chase Infinity did not score an Oscar nomination for her breakout role in one battle after another. She's up against two-time Emmy winner Zendaya for Euphoria.
