And I do, to a certain extent, if I'm honest, feel as though she's embarrassed of us.
We're very different.
Everything I am, she's not.
Everything she is, I'm not.
You couldn't be more polar opposite.
We're like oil and water.
Kelly Osbourne is opening up about her estrangement from her older sister, Amy, and the final
message their rock star dad Ozzy Osbourne gave before his death.
Kelly sat down with Paul C. Brunson on the We Need to Talk podcast, where she confirmed
that there is no hope for a reconciliation between the polar opposite sisters.
While she respects and accepts her, she also implied Amy has said horrible things about
her and truly seems to thrive when she's not doing well.
Kelly added that Amy never acknowledged her or her brother, Jack, and that she resents
growing up without a big sister in her life.
And it's not the first time Kelly has spoken out about their strained relationship.
Here's what she told Dax Shepard on Armchair Expert in 2023.
Do we talk about your sister?
You know she has a sister that didn't participate, Amy, right?
Yeah.
We don't talk.
Okay, great.
Oh, you don't talk at all?
Mm-mm.
Okay, never mind then.
We're just really different.
Yeah, yeah.
She doesn't understand me.
I don't understand her.
Fair.
It all goes back to March of 2002, when the Osbournes premiered on MTV and became reality
TV royalty.
Amy refused to join.
She was even blurred in family photos on the show, and she moved out of their Beverly Hills
home when she was 16.
She later told The Independent that she was still trying to figure out who I was in the
chaos of family life, and called her siblings very impressionable.
Amy eventually found herself as a singer, like her famous father, and performs under
the name Aro.
She made a rare public appearance alongside her family at the 2026 Grammys to honor Ozzy.
She also put on a united front at his funeral procession and was visibly moved to tears
by the crowd of supporters chanting his name.
Ozzy!
When asked if we need to talk, Kelly revealed the heartbreaking final message Ozzy gave
to his little girl, three days before his passing.
No matter what happens in this life, you can live the rest of your life knowing there is
one man on this planet that truly loved you, that truly loved you for every single thing
you are, and that one man is me.
