Today we are heading out for some major family fun at the Alpena County Fair! Usually I miss the fair because I am traveling to Vegas for SuperZoo, but they pushed it back a week this year and we actually get to go! I am taking my nephew John Matthew and niece Charlotte to ride all the exciting rides like the carousel and the roller coaster. We also spent plenty of time visiting the animal barn to see the pigs, ducks, and chickens. If you have a local county fair, you definitely need to get out there and support it before they disappear!

While we were having a blast at the fair, Jamie stayed home to get the yard looking absolutely beautiful for when the kids come over to swim later. But I also have to share a little bit of crazy news about my granite 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. The check engine light came on with a cylinder misfire, so I had to drive it 75 miles away to the dealership in Gaylord! They literally have to take the whole engine apart, so Jamie had to drive over an hour to come rescue me. Thank goodness it looks like the powertrain warranty is going to cover the repairs!

Back at home, the dogs, Kira and Eleanor were so excited to see me and get all their wiggles out in the freshly cut grass! We took the girls for a lovely evening walk around the neighborhood looking for bunnies and chatting about the changing weather. Summer is officially wrapping up soon, so we are enjoying these perfect walking temperatures while we can. Oh, and do not forget to check out our Etsy shop because the new 3D printed Shelby and Oakley figurines are officially live and Jamie worked so hard on them!
