Partly sunny, warm and humid for Long Island with some spotty showers and storms tonight

I'm meteorologist Rich Hoffman. Your hyperlocal weather forecast after the clouds and showers. We have this morning starting to see more of that sunshine kind of partly sunny skies. Beautiful weather now out towards Montauk temperatures in the 70s. It is a little bit breezy out there, but what you're going to notice kind of warm and humid. Take a look at our temperatures this afternoon over in Patchogue in the upper 70s without southwesterly winds. And with the humidity, it feels more like around 84 to 85 degrees. So a warm afternoon. We are tracking some clouds and also through this evening. Still, the threat of a few isolated showers. You can see that around 645 moving in 730. 830 that chance of a spotty shower into your evening hours and then overnight 2-3 o'clock in the morning the cold front comes on through will be watching some of those rain showers and then the weather will start to improve on Friday then Friday afternoon we're going to start today with sunshine. Friday afternoon is a chance of a pop up shower coming on down from the North and West and then going into your Saturday and Sunday. Overall, the weather looks pretty nice. On Saturday we're looking at temperatures in the mid 70s. Slight chance of an evening shower Saturday. Dry on Sunday, but it's cooler. Low 70s and on Monday right now. Sun and clouds with high temperatures in the 70s. Today 70s to low 80s. We're watching a spotty shower storm through this evening. Threat of a shower storm up till about 3 o'clock in the morning. Low 60s and 70s. Here's that extended forecast. We are watching some decent weather tomorrow with a chance of a spotty shower Friday and Saturday. And nice sunshine Sunday, Monday with highs in the 70s.
