Ukrainian drones and missiles will operate in Russian skies as long as Russia's aggression against Ukraine continues . This statement was made by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov.
"The Kremlin deliberately chose a path of escalation, turning September 1st into yet another day of terror against Ukrainian children and civilian infrastructure. Guided by its right to self-defense, Ukraine will respond with a firm and proportionate response. I fully support the decision of the President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelenskyy," he said. According to him, Russian skies are no longer safe. "This is a new reality, of which we are officially warning international airlines, insurers, and partners. Our long-range weapons will systematically strike military targets on enemy territory. We respect our partners' diplomatic efforts and are prepared to ensure targeted pauses solely for genuine steps toward ending the war. But as long as the aggression continues, Ukrainian drones and missiles will dominate Russian skies," Budanov added.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian airspace was becoming "completely dangerous" for civil aviation . He warned airlines and insurers about the risks of flying to Russian airports, primarily Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other key cities.
