Fatal shooting in Meriwether County

Getting a fatal shooting in Warm Springs. Investigators from several agencies are on the scene on Spring Street and good news. Caitlin Pratt is on the scene as well. She joins us live from Meriwether County, Caitlin. Good morning to you both. I wish I could tell you more than that. Authorities here being very tight lipped about what exactly is going on. But what is clear if we can throw to that video we captured a short time ago is that this is a very urgent situation with multiple law enforcement agencies here all gathering in one place, focusing their efforts on a local country hotel here, the Meriwether Country Inn. That's where they put up some crime scene tape around the area so that we can't get any closer, confirming only at this point that the GBI is here on the scene investigating a deadly encounter. So we're going to keep staying on top of this, keep pressing for answers. But yes, a very much active police situation here in Meriwether County, Warm Springs. I'm hoping to get some details in the next half hour. We'll see you back here on Good Day Atlanta guys. Alright. Thank you so much.
