17-Year-Old FREAK Is The Youngest Player In College Football | Boobie Feaster
Aug 22, 2026
I mean, I know what I want to do.
I want to be an NFL Hall of Famer.
Sleep is for the rich.
And when you're trying to accomplish your goals,
you're going to do what you need to do to accomplish them.
No Days Off means sacrifice.
We just want to make USC great again.
I'm Ethan Booby Feust, the receiver at USC,
and this is my No Days Off episode.
My dad gave me the nickname Booby from Friday Night Lights.
I'm pretty sure if you're from Texas or a big football fan,
you know about that movie.
I said it one day after my flag football game.
I told my godfather, I said, if you want to win, put Booby in.
Ever since then, everybody started calling me Booby.
So he may tell you another story,
but I'm going to tell you how he got that name.
I was actually pregnant with Ethan.
His dad, from day one, when we found out
we were having a boy, he said that was going to be
his nickname no matter what.
Now, he has some family names that we call him,
and I won't say those names, but from day one,
he's been Booby to dad.
Not to me, but to dad, yeah.
When I was eight, I played 9U, 9U and 10U,
so I played on my godfather's team,
Shreveport Bombers in Louisiana.
Ever since then, I mean, my pops always played me up.
Even when I was in high school,
my freshman year, I played on varsity.
He's been on the field with his dad coaching
since he was in a stroller, pretty much.
When his dad would get off of work,
they would go up to the neighborhood high school
and run routes and actually do little drills
and things like that at eight years old.
Back up, work, work.
No Days Off to me is being working 24-7.
I mean, I'm built around work.
My parents, I've seen them work 24-7,
work two, three jobs just to get me to where I'm at now,
and now I'm able to take care of them,
so No Days Off, they showed me the way.
So we moved from Louisiana in 2018,
and it wasn't for football.
It was for work-wise.
My husband left first,
and then I came a couple of months later.
Ethan went with his dad, and he got him on a team,
and we could tell the difference
between Texas football and Louisiana football really quickly
because there were a lot of Saturdays
that I did not see my house.
Five in the morning, we get up, team run, lift,
come back around one, got class,
and I try to get some extra work,
get together with the quarterbacks, watch film,
watch film again with my coach.
So I probably don't get home around to, like, six.
What I'm thinking about when I'm running around,
what the DB's doing, how he's lined up,
attack is leverage.
Those are the three biggest things for me,
and finish the kick.
My mom dropped me off from school to my practice,
my youth league practice, Shreveport Bombers practice.
My godfather, he put me at running back one day.
I scored a touchdown at practice.
I was like, my dad came to practice late.
He showed up.
He was like, why y'all got him at running back?
And ever since then, they had me at running back.
Of course, my measurables,
I wasn't really as a big of a running back,
so I got moved to receiver.
I was a little lanky guy, a little lanky receiver.
Ever since then, I mean, that's just been my thing,
and that's what I love to do.
I mean, the same moves that you have to use as a DN,
you have to use as a receiver.
You know, good hands, great feet, that first get off.
So, I mean, DN definitely got me prepared
to play receiver, most definitely.
Understanding coverages, different coverages,
zones throughout running, that's the biggest thing.
But for me, just continue building a relationship
with everybody on the field.
Learning what the O-line has to do,
what the quarterback has to do,
what the running back has to do, that's the biggest thing.
And I feel like if you do that,
you'll be very successful as a receiver.
On the football field, I think he knows his X's and O's.
Like I said, he studies.
He has a very high IQ on the field.
He can see things, and sometimes he'll tell the coaches
that he sees certain things and stuff.
Off the field, he's kind.
He wants to help everybody.
So, Boobie's on the field, Ethan's off the field.
Kind of like a Beyonce, Sasha Fierce, you know?
I gotta go get that suit.
He finna spend $1,200 on a suitcase.
A suitcase?
That he's gonna use over and over and over again?
That's a good call.
That's the high suitcases.
That's okay.
Man, you pay $900 for some shorts.
Are you a good bowler?
I think so.
In my opinion, I am.
He gotta look at it.
Only he gotta look at it.
You hang out with these guys often?
We are at the school with each other every day.
Make sure we up at the good time
and hold each other accountable.
Who's your favorite NFL player right now?
Jamar Chase.
I'ma say Oliver St. Brown.
I'ma say Odell Beckham Jr., he just got back in the league.
I've always watched Antonio Brown, Jamar Chase,
Justin Jefferson, there's so many guys I could say.
I mean, I try to get a little something from everybody.
I mean, it's not just one person I could just say
I look at 24-7, but Julio Jones,
his mindset for me was the biggest thing.
I'm real loyal.
I'm loyal to who's loyal to me.
USC's been loyal to me.
They've recruited me for so long.
I feel like they had the best interest in me.
You know, have a great three years here
and be a USC great, go be great in the NFL.
I was kind of one of the last ones to commit to USC.
So I mean, really most of the guys was kind of
trying to get me to commit to USC.
That was the biggest thing.
So they was really trying to get me to come.
They was on me hard.
And I think they did a pretty good job.
I got it, I'm in there.
Pressure is privilege.
It's always, that's always been my motto.
Pressure is privilege.
I mean, I feel like the 26 class,
we're going by that way as well.
I mean, all of us, we were highly recruited guys.
I mean, but we just want to make USC great again.
I mean, just go win a national championship.
Honestly for us, if we don't make it this year,
I mean, it's kind of a fail for us.
We feel like we should make it, you know?
Cause Raleigh believes in it.
Our whole coaching staff believes in it
and the players believe in it.
So I mean, we ain't got no choice but to make it this year.
For my freshman year, of course,
I want to be a freshman All-American.
I want to win big 10 freshman of the year.
Go win a national championship.
Just have a great year.
Great, great year.
You know, I know, I know that'll happen though.
I mean, I pray on it every night.
I mean, I'm big on my faith and I'm trusting in God.
I'm done playing, I'm going animal.
Doing damage, get in my way, you'll be collateral.
I mean, I know what I want to do.
I want to be a NFL Hall of Famer.
So I mean, I know NFL Hall of Famers,
if you go listen to how they worked out,
what they did to get to where they at.
I mean, you can't really take no days off.
His dedication, his hard work, him studying.
Not just in the books, but like it's nights
when we would go and turn his TV off
and all he has on is old games from high school
or the game that he played the night before
and he's studying film.
Some nights he would come in at eight o'clock at night
and I'm like, where have you been?
And he's like, I've been up at the school
with Coach Sweeney, you know,
we've been looking over plays or whatever.
So he studies the game.
What would it feel like for you and your family
if you were to make it to the NFL?
Well, I know I'm gonna cry.
I know how much work I've put in, how much I've done.
It'll mean a lot, especially to my parents,
the people who know the days that they told me to rest
and I didn't go to rest, I still wouldn't have worked out.
I mean, I know they'll be very, very proud
because they seen the blood, sweat, and tears.
They done seen the good side of it and the bad side.
So I know they'll be very, very proud.
