You know, my main goal in life is to become a world champion.
I think social media is the future of boxing.
I was there when we created the word influencer.
I know what I'm capable of, and I've never
been afraid to put it all on the line.
I've never been afraid of losing.
I've never been afraid of going in there to see who the better man is.
And at the end of the day, fight me.
What's up, everybody? It's Jake Paul.
I'm 26 years old. I'm a professional boxer.
And this is No Days Off.
Yeah, I guess when I was a kid,
I was just like any other Ohio kid, playing sports, riding
my BMX bike around, having fun, causing trouble,
going to the school dances, and didn't really
know what I was going to do with my life.
I liked wrestling because, to be honest,
I was tired of the team sports, and I had to
rely on them, so that's why I went to wrestling.
And so in wrestling, it was all dependent on me,
and the harder I worked, the better
I got.
I grew up watching combat sports, boxing,
MMA, and was always a massive fan.
That's really some of the only things there
were to do in Ohio on the weekends.
I would sit down with the family
and watch whatever pay-per-view was on, since I could
remember that was what we did as a family.
And then eventually we started going to some local MMA fights,
which to me was really,
really cool.
And I got to see that firsthand.
So I've always loved being around combat sports
and always was a fan, for sure.
I'm more hungry than I've ever been in this boxing world.
And I'm coming for war.
And I promise myself that I'm going to knock this guy the **** out.
And he's going to leave unconscious.
I'm certain of it in every cell of my body.
First thing is the willingness of the fighter
to be a world fighter.
It takes a lot of guts and courage.
A lot of people that go in think they want,
oh, I wanna be a fighter,
I wanna do this or do that or whatever,
and they get in there and get hit,
and then they can't, they don't wanna do it no more.
He has a fighter's heart, a fighter's mentality.
I mean, he just started when he was 20 years old, 21,
And already, he's already doing eight rounds, 10 rounds.
You know, come on, he's doing way above
what he's
supposed
to be
doing.
Still doesn't make sense, but it's pretty cool.
The 16 year old version of myself would be very proud.
That's
crazy.
Fight has been brewing for a long time.
The fans have wanted this.
We've been going back and forth for years.
And what I want to do in this sport is throw massive fights
and good fights that are gonna be entertaining for the fans.
And I think this could be one of those fights
where we're just punching each other nonstop
and the fans get the best show.
And that's why, you know, August 5th,
it's gonna be a movie, it's gonna be a war,
and we're gonna see what
and who was right the whole time.
My relationship with my brother is, it's amazing.
We're yin and yang, you know, best friends,
pushing each other, inspiring each other,
and really competing with each other, you know,
in many ways, like a true brotherly relationship.
And I think without one another,
we wouldn't be where we are today.
Honestly, you can't balance all of this stuff.
You have to like live life out of proportion
and be like mentally insane and like work 24/7.
I don't think I've ever seen someone
that works harder than me.
And I've met a lot of people
and this is the most important thing in my life
and the most important moment of my life.
Find out what I'm truly made of.
And I said it after I lost.
I said, don't judge me by my wins.
Judge me by my losses because you're going
to see how I'm going to come back from this.
And that's what I'm going to do August 5th.
I'm just super hyper dedicated
and it comes with a lot of a lot of stress.
So really, it's figuring out how to manage the stress
and not go like completely crazy.
But I'm just, I think, addicted to work.
No days off means to me that you might take the nights off.
And if you want to be the greatest in the world at what you do,
then you can't take nights off either.
I'm working around the clock always.
What is up, everybody?
