The offensive was launched simultaneously from several directions: the forces of the 41st Army and the 90th Tank Division advanced from the area of the village of Novoekonomichne. In parallel, units of the 8th Combined Arms Army launched an attack from the area of the village of Vozdvizhenka. In addition, tactical aviation of the Ukrainian Air Force damaged the bridge crossings, and Russian attempts to bring up pontoons during the battle were thwarted by repeated airstrikes.
The assault was repelled thanks to the joint work of Azov, Central Military District "A" of the SBU, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Air Force, the State Security Service of Ukraine, in particular the Phoenix unit, as well as other units of the National Guard and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
7 tanks, 6 armored personnel carriers, Grad and Sarma MLRS, 3 units of special equipment and 47 units of light equipment were destroyed, as well as 123 occupiers eliminated and 29 wounded.
