Is It Safe For the Dogs To Be Outside? Wildfire Smoke Takes Over!

Today was definitely one of the weirdest days we have seen in a super long time. Canadian wildfire smoke completely took over our sky, and the moment you walked outside, it smelled just like a campfire! The air quality shot way up past 400, and there was literally ash falling down all over our cars, spiderwebs, and everything. Because the air was so bad, we had to keep our outdoor time super short and run our air purifiers overtime inside to keep Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor safe and comfortable.
Even though the air was crazy, we still made the most of our day with our friend Dan visiting! We brought him downtown to see the building and gave you guys a long-awaited Take 5 Deli update to show off the progress, talk about the new roof coming tomorrow, and share how good it feels to be back in that space. It is starting to feel like home all over again!
After heading back home, we braved the haze for a super quick 20-minute dip in the pool and hung out inside. Watching Kira and Eleanor demonstrate their totally different toy play styles was so funny! We hope you guys enjoy this random smoky day with us!
