Kira the husky puppy pulls a dog sled for the first time on a mini dog sledding adventure! That's right, Kira, at just 8 months old, is in harness and learning how to pull a sled. Now, as I said in the video, we did not go for very far at all. The entire run took us less then 5 minutes. Kira is still growing, so she cannot pull for long right now, but she can learn what she should be doing!
Guess what we're... Wait a minute! Did you have a blip? Did you have a blip just now?
Guess what we're doing today guys? Actually, not doing it today. Technically we did it yesterday.
For those of you that do not know, we live in Northern Michigan and look!
We got snow and this time around, we got enough snow to do what we love and go dog sledding!
What you think about that? What you think? Ready? Wanna go hike, hike, hike?
You already know the word and that's the best!
They're gonna pass me real quick. I'd say Memphis knows how to do this.
Bye! Bye! Have fun! Watch the traffic!
Expanding our abilities. If the passion's gone, we're doing it wrong.
Baby you and I, baby you and I should start living now.
With the whole world at heart, we could stay or we could leave.
There is nothing in between. Baby we should start living now.
We are close, can you feel it? Something is behind the clouds.
We just have to believe it, that we can make the sun come out.
Let us lose ourselves in a fairy tale. Who can say what's wrong or right?
We're the only ones who can decide. Baby you and I, baby you and I should start living now.
With the whole world at heart, we could stay or we could leave.
There is nothing in between. So baby we should start living now.
Cause we only have this life, we should start living now.
Yeah! Good girl! I love it guys!
So, there you have it! Little Miss Kira did her first sled run.
Some of you may be wondering, how she already got a harness?
Some of you may already know the answer to this.
This is the harness that Kira wore while pulling the sled.
This was actually our very first Husky, which is that one right there.
You can see her in some of our much older videos.
This was Shiloh's harness. It usually hangs in our entry way.
This was Shiloh's harness when it was full grown, mind you.
It fit Kira pretty well. This is the harness we let her wear.
This actually, I believe is the same harness that Memphis wore the very first time she pulled a sled.
So, I don't know. I just think that's kind of cool.
I really wanted to share that with you guys.
So yes, Kira pulled her first sled in November.
The second snow we got. We got enough snow to go dog sledding.
Which blows my mind, especially after the past couple of years where we barely had enough snow to do anything.
We had enough snow already, so she could experience her first time dog sledding.
Memphis was also eight months old.
The very first time she ever pulled a sled.
I don't know. It just makes me so excited.
If you guys have any questions about dog sledding, leave them down in the comments and I'll try to answer some of them.
I know I won't be able to answer all of them.
There's also going to be an Amazon affiliate link to a book called Mush.
For those of you wanting to learn how to do dog sledding with your dogs, it is the best book you can buy.
We'll answer a lot of questions on teaching commands and things like that.
Maybe sometime within the next year, we'll do a video going a little bit more in depth with all that.
If you guys want to hear about that.
Anyway you guys, that is all we have for you today.
We just had to share little Miss Kira's first time pulling a sled.
How did you guys think she did?
Did you think she did good? Memphis thought she did pretty good.
Memphis was like, I was just so happy to be going hike, hike, hike.
Cause it's like my favorite thing ever.
And you got the sled out, you got my harness out and I was so excited.
We went hike, hike, hike. Yes we did, I know.
If they wouldn't have plowed the roads, we could have went again today.
But they already plowed the roads, so next time it snows, we'll go again.
Alright you guys, as always...
We hope... Hi!
We hope you enjoyed today's video.
As always, thanks so much for watching.

Thanks for watching guys. We'll see you again soon.
