A Perfect Spring Day With Siberian Huskies! 🌸 FINALLY
Do your dogs have a favorite backyard zoomie path that you've ever had to block off? How do they react when the weather finally starts warming up? Let us know in the comments below! I can barely believe it, but it is finally supposed to be 60 degrees and gorgeous today. The dogs are loving the sunshine, and Kira is already doing her happy morning dance in the yard. Jamie is working on getting some new grass established under the maple tree using a dog-friendly mixture of clover and tall fescue. To keep muddy paws away and let the lawn grow, we had to put a temporary fence up, which completely threw off Eleanor's favorite zoomie path!
While the dogs relaxed in the shade, I braved my fear of birds to set up a GoPro near our nest to catch some amazing footage of the mama and papa birds feeding their babies. We also had to outsmart a sneaky squirrel who keeps trying to steal all the birdseed! After checking the camera footage, the warm weather called for a family walk around the neighborhood. We even got to pass by my brother's house so the kids could say hello to Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor.
We wrapped up our beautiful spring day by heading inside to cool off, turn on the fans, and watch some playoff hockey. Kira even decided to put herself to bed early before our usual bedtime routine! Life is short, make memories with your dogs!
