Huskies Adventure Up a Montana Mountain | Travel Vlog

Well, good wonderful beautiful morning Pawdience! Hey, who got the towel out? I bet it was that one right there, sneaking in there right now. Hey girl! I'm gonna close it. What are you doing? Geez! I don't know who got the towel. What are you doing? Can I have that? Hey, can I have that? Hey, can I have... Where are you gonna go with it? Where are you gonna... Where are you gonna make it? Can I have this? Hey, can I have this please? Please? Drop it. Drop it. Drop... You're not gonna drop it, are you? I need two hands for this. Drop it. Come on, I got you to do this the other day and you did so good. She's like, yeah, but I didn't have a towel and now it has a towel. And it's delicious! It's not our towel. We shouldn't do this. Oh, look. Oh, yeah! You need a cheaper one. Good wonderful, beautiful morning Pawdience. These girls have been feisty this morning. Even Shelby. Shelby's like, I'm feisty, I wanna play. I'm feisty, I wanna play. Yeah, what do you think Memphis? Memphis is like, guys, I went downstairs this morning and everybody was eating breakfast and I couldn't make it anywhere without getting petted and it was amazing. And here we are ripping through a mountain pass. We were able to slow down and stop because nobody's around, but things like I was gonna say, there was a hole in there. We could have crawled in. It was so big. They had to cut right through this. We're in Helena National Forest, I think it's called. Yes, Shelby, we hear you. Shelby thinks we're getting out. Sorry, I had to slow down to 25 in that corner. Look at them rocks. I know, Shelby. Oh, we didn't tell them what we're doing today. Oh, we're rock hunting. We're going rock hunting. We found a couple spots according to Google and we're gonna go hunt some rocks. Oh gosh, that'll make you sick if you look at that for too long. Look at this! It's straight up and down. There's nobody behind me, I'm stopping. That is cool. Nobody's gonna come find us. There's a car in front of us. The River Street Corridor right there, guys. A little creek running down the mountain pass. Alright. Okay, so we found a primitive road. We're going jeeping in Montana! Definitely a dirt road in the mountains. Continue on our gulf road for three miles. Looks like we might want to go a little slow on this one. Well, yeah, or else we'll be biting our tongues off. Oh, slippery. Go jeeping through. We slid over there. We slid all around. Might have to wash the car after this one. You enjoying the ride home, Memphis? I thought you were gonna ask me. I was like, yeah! Hey, guess what? This is actually, because this is the new Jeep, this is the first time I've been off-road. Really? Yep. You might not like this. You could probably go that way. Fancy. So you could have went that way. It's just there was a bird and he was getting water. I just didn't want to, you know, disrupt him. Oh, was that it? Yeah, I don't... What vehicle was making that mess? Somebody was making a mess out here. Horse poop! Alright, we got a few more miles of this. Yeah, so our actual plan today was to go into Glacier National Park, but it's four hours north of our hotel. So we decided that we were just gonna go hit some trails around here and see some mountains closer. Which I'm really excited about, because this is really pretty. I mean, look at... I have mud on my windshield, but look at how pretty this is. Look at this. Look at this view. How fun is this? Yeah, so we're gonna keep going that way. Yeah, so... I think this made my whole day. This is so pretty. So nice to have a vehicle that we can just be like, oh we're on the pavement? Oh, let's take this trail. This is Jeep life. Right here. This is exactly what it is. We can go wherever we want, because it's capable. It's what it's built for. This is so cool. I just wanna hold the camera and keep filming. What's around the next corner? But what's around the next corner? Alright, so there's like a cliff. Yeah, it's definitely a cliff. And we're on the side of it. Oh, nice green valley. Why am I not as freaked out right now as I was in Colorado? Uh, we're going really slow. Nobody else is around and... I'm in control. You could be. I'm driving. There's power lines down there. There's power lines down there? Oh gosh, there's a big building right down at the bottom of this. Maybe there was a different road we could have taken. I'm thinking maybe. I'm glad we took this one. Maybe too. Look at that. Memphis is already in the water. We made it all the way back here to the river. What do you think? These dogs are like, we're going. What do you think Kira? She's like, guys I like the water. A lot. You like water? You should have put your harness on. I wasn't thinking. Hey. Can't like stand in the mud. Oh, but I can stand in the mud. Look, Jamie's already rock picking. Is that fun? I'm glad you're not afraid of water. We don't want to go out there. That's a big wide river. But this little creek I think is perfectly fine for them to walk around in. Yeah? What do you think of that? The other two are eating grass. We're not cows guys. We're not cows. So we had the dogs out for a little bit. We let them play in the river a little bit. Now I'm sitting back in the car with them while Jamie does a little bit of rock hunting. I have their harnesses. I was going to put their harnesses on and walk them up and down this trail. But it's really narrow and the puppies trying to eat everything on the edges. So I'm like, I'll just sit in the car for a few minutes while you go and do your rock hunting thing. Memphis decided to roll in a dead fish. So you can't see it because this side of her is clean. But the other side of her is covered in mud. So she might have to get a shower when we get back. We managed to get her... Get a bunch of water on her and get it all off. She doesn't stink, thankfully. What are you looking at? There's a truck over there. Are you just looking at the truck? The other two are in the back already laying down. So we spent quite a bit of time outside. Which is really good for them. A lot of this road trip we haven't done a whole lot of hiking. Which is kind of why I wanted to walk them up and down the trail out there. So like I said, we did for a little bit and then we just got back in the car. Now Jamie's going to hunt some rocks. And then we've got to turn around and go all the way back down that trail we came down. This will be exciting. We're not doing a whole lot today. Like I said earlier, it's kind of a chill day. We're going to go back, probably be back close to about dinner time. And it should work out pretty good for what all we're going to do today. And then tomorrow we're hitting the road and heading to Bismarck, North Dakota. And that's a long drive too. It's like a nine and a half hour drive. But I think we're going to make a couple of stops along the way that way as well. That's how the days are going, man. I hope you guys have really been enjoying these road trip vlogs. I know it's not the same as some of our trips where we're out seeing a lot of things. We're still seeing a lot of things because we're showing you things as we're driving. But we're not getting out as much, I guess. And we have and then there's been spots that I forgot the camera or left it in the car. But we've been having a lot of fun. It's been a crazy trip. By the time we get home we'll have been gone for 14 days. Which is nuts. But it's fun. We're excited. It's been fun. So when we were telling you we were driving through a mountain and up and down a mountain. I don't know if you could get the scale of it. There's a building down there. There's a river down there. There's some trees. Here's a road. And there's my Jeep. No joke guys. On the side of the mountain. Mountain. Down the mountain. That's pretty crazy. And I'm driving. Believe it or not. Just listen. Nothing. Just some animals. The Jeep creaking a little. How cool. I don't know between Montana and Colorado. Montana you're winning right now. You're definitely winning as being my favorite state. We're trying to listen to the silence phones. Look at this girl. Are you so exhausted after today? Bouncing around in the back of the Jeep. You got to play in a river. You got to run through some bushes with us. Did you have a good day? It was a pretty good day, huh? How about you? Did you have a good day too? Yeah? How about you? Why are you over here on the floor? You know there's a whole bed over there. You could take all to yourself. She's like nope. Floor is good. Alright you guys. That is all we have for today. We got to get up early in the morning and head out of here. And head over to North Dakota. So we're going to call it a night. Hope you guys enjoyed today's adventure. Through the mountains. Oh wait. We can't end this just yet. We almost forgot to show you guys. The rocks that we found. So... We got some small ones. But we also got a couple big ones. That's really cool. I got some more in the car that I didn't bring in. I'm surprised you brought up these big ones. Yeah, right? That's just cool. Yeah, right? And then a big green one. And then this is a lot of what we were seeing. A lot of the red rock color. Yeah, I forgot to... We didn't bring in the petrified wood we actually found. Yeah, I forgot a couple good ones down there. But this is... Some of the rocks that we... Can I help you? We're looking at rocks. Do you want to skip to the future and let me go get them? We're going to skip to the future and he's going to go get them. Okay, cool. You got to blip there girl. You got to blip. Alright, let's see. Hold on. So... We found those. Those are pretty cool. That's... I'm pretty sure that's petrified wood. I guarantee petrified wood. Bring it up there. Yeah, one of them is very fragile. They're both pretty fragile. But this one is really fragile. You can tell where it wants to crack. Yeah. That's pretty neat. That was our big find. They were probably one piece, Jess. Yeah, they probably were. At one point in time. Yeah. Probably not as old and hard as the petrified wood we bought. No. But still pretty cool. Oh, look at that. I told you. That's exactly how they went together. Oh my gosh! That was one piece, Jess. Oh my gosh. It completely, perfectly clicks together. Wow. That's pretty cool. You would have really never seen that wood pattern. Oh my gosh. It doesn't come back apart. Hey, excuse me. Don't go under there. Hey, now you're tangled. You see perfect pattern. That's so cool. Maybe we'll have some luck tomorrow finding some along the river. That is pretty cool. He has a blip. Are you ready for bed? Yeah, he has a pretty good blip going on there. That's a pretty good one. Alright you guys. We're gonna go ahead and call it a night. It's been a long day.
