How much does your Dog POOP | Fan Friday 183

This is Willow and this is Deedee and it's Fan Friday! It's time for Fan Friday! Super up-close Fan Friday. Everybody wants to be close again, right Oakley? Harry Clouds on Instagram says, real question. How often do your dogs poop in a day? I have no idea. I don't count it. Probably once, maybe twice. I don't count it. I just clean it up. That's my job. McGreeby, I hope I said that name right, on Instagram says, my Siberian Husky is now three months old. When I first got him, he was all white, but now his hair is turning blonde. When do Huskies get their full more final color? Hi Oakley. Well, you guys all have noticed... Shelby, that was Memphis's ball, so don't get upset. You guys have all noticed that Shelby tends to change color with the season. Oakley does a little bit too. As for their... Did you lose your ball, honey? As for their final color... You can probably get a pretty good idea of their actual color by the time they're about a year old. But they honestly, they change color their whole lives. I mean, you can even see Oakley's face right in here. Hi baby! Where she's turning more white. Shiloh head right here on Shiloh's legs. You can kind of see it on Oakley's legs, where she's getting a little bit browner. Shiloh did the same thing as she got older. She got more brown coloring in her legs. Are we gonna get upside down Oakley, or are you just gonna sit down? Alright, so I would say probably about a year. I mean Memphis is a year and a half old and that's about the color she's gonna be. She'll get a little bit lighter and a little bit darker, you know, throughout the seasons. But that's about her color. It's just like same thing with their mask. Some puppies, Husky puppies have a really distinguished mask and as they grow older it kind of lightens or it darkens. Really just depends. It's hard to say. They're like chameleons. They change color. Hey Oakley! Can we get upside down Oakley? Hi Oakley! No? Apparently, I have to go get the ball. Macy13 says, what do you do to get through to a stubborn dog? I don't know, but if you figure it out, let me know. Huskies are by nature very intelligent and very stubborn. Hi Memphis! I didn't show you guys. I probably should have. Memphis has now stuffed that ball under that chair two or three times and she won't even look at me unless I get it out from under the chair for her because she's very stubborn and she wants her ball. And that's her ball. Shelby's taking it from her a couple times. So if you figure it out, you let me know because I've got a couple stubborn ones here. Is that your ball Memphis? Memphis likes really soft squeaky balls. See that little soft squeaky ball? She does not like the squeaky tennis balls like Shelby does. There's another little soft one over there. We have discovered she loves these little soft squeaky balls. A couple of you asked about what to use for paw protection. Some of you asked for in the winter and some of you asked for in the summer. Musher's Secret, which I'll put a link to down in the video description below, is... Actually, you can use it all year round. It works really well in the wintertime to protect from like the salt that they put out on the roads and in the summertime it helps protect from road rash and things like that. So that's what we use. That's what I would suggest. I know both people that commented said my dog won't wear booties. Booties are nice, but Musher's Secret will help if your dog refuses to wear booties. Did you seriously lose the ball again? There's a yellow one right there. Memphis Bell. Sammy Kins wants to know, are Huskies okay as only dogs? Um, yeah, they can do just fine as an only dog as long as you're very active and interacting with them and playing with them. We had Shiloh as an only dog until she was five years old before we brought Shelby the insane dog into her life. But yes, they can do very well as only dogs as long as you stay active. Teresa says, every week I post the same question for you. Will you ever have a male Husky so you can breed your dogs? No, all of my dogs are fixed. Not know that I'll never have a male Husky. I don't know if I'll ever have a male Husky. Right now, I just have all girls. But no, I will never breed any of these girls. They are all fixed. We don't need to make more puppies. There are already enough puppies and responsible breeders out there in the world. We don't need to make more puppies. And on the topic of breeding, Tammy says, I was wondering, do you think it's a good idea to let your Huskies have puppies at least one time? Does it change their personality? No, it doesn't change their personality and if you're thinking about letting them have puppies because it'll change their personality, you really need to do some research on breeding. No, none of my dogs have had puppies and they're all just fine. They don't need to have puppies. Look at, they are puppies. Look at them. You girls are nuts. Sarah says, how many Christmas cards do you think you've gotten so far? Probably around 250. I'm actually gonna do an official count tomorrow night. But yeah, probably about 250. We had 380 before we did our video last year. So we still got a little bit to go, but we've got a couple more days. We got some mail. We got some mail. Look, mail. Side note, anybody that sent a gift along with their Christmas card, the gifts are gonna be opened at the beginning of the Christmas card exchange video when we put that up. So if you don't see something that you sent, that's probably because it's going in that video. Jamie sent us a letter in a package. That's her dog Kayla. And she says that Kayla freezes just like Shelby when in costume and check this out you guys. This is the original sketch work. And we got a letter from Sarah and Holly the golden retriever with some drawings. One of Shelby, one of Memphis. One of Shiloh with wings. Love it. And one of Oakley. Freckles and all. And we got a letter and a drawing from Cherry and Cherry says, I have a husky that keeps pretending like it's gonna be sick. What should I do? It might be coughing. It might have something caught in its throat, but you might want to go to the vet and find out. If they keep making that motion, you might just want to go have it checked out. And we got some cute little drawings from Bailey. And we got this awesome drawing from Katie. Katie, this is really cute. With a couple of questions. One of them is, how do you pick your Fan Friday questions? Is it just random or is there a system to it? Uh, there's kind of both. I kind of read through all the ones that get submitted and I try to find the ones that I haven't answered recently or that I've never answered before and those are the ones I pick. And I try to pick five to seven questions a week because I don't want these videos to be super long and I don't want them to be too short. When it comes to mail, I try to answer all of the questions that come in the mail. But if there's more than one question on a letter, I try to pick one or two from that letter and answer them. I hope that helps you. We got a letter and a couple drawings from Ellie and Ellie wants to know if we're going to be doing a Christmas themed video like the Jingle Bells one we did last year. You know, we don't have any snow. So, well we had snow like you guys saw and it all melted and now we have like a half of an inch and that's it. So, I don't know. I haven't decided yet. I've still got a couple of days to figure it out. Possibly, maybe. I don't know. You'll just have to wait and see. We got a letter and some drawings from Anjalee and Anjalee wanted to know, are you gonna get a fourth Husky? I don't know. Who knows? Maybe. And who is the leader of the pack? Is it you Oakley? Are you the leader? I don't know. Could be Shelby. Shelby's in your kennel. You better go figure out what she's doing in there. I think she threw her ball in there. Oh, and I missed this drawing from the envelope. Sorry! We got a letter with a cute little drawing from Ellie and Ellie wants to know, what does Christmas mean to you? In short version answer, family. Christmas is family. Family and love and friends, right? Alright, fine. I'll let you lick me. That's what it means to me. And we got a letter from Oswald and Oswald wants to know if we can make Shelby howl. I don't know. We can try. Sing! There you go, I guess they all kind of sang. Good job, Shelby. Good job.
