Elon Musk just Declared This about Blue Origin Shocking revealed new satellite Compete with SpaceX
Elon Musk is probably laughing hard right now!
Because his biggest rival, Jeff Bezos and Amazon-just got slapped hard right on social media by FCC Chairman Brendan Carr.
The reason? Amazon dared to file a petition with the FCC to block SpaceX's crazy plan to launch up to one million satellites into orbit, all to build a massive orbital data center.
But Brendan Carr didn't just disagree, he publicly slammed Amazon: 'Better focus on launching enough of your own satellites—you're about a thousand short anyway!
So how exactly did this story just unfold? Why is the FCC Chairman openly siding with Elon Musk?
Let’s find out in today's episode of Alpha Tech.

Jeff Bezos is the original founder and driving force behind Amazon. Back in 1994, he started the company from his garage in Seattle with a simple idea, selling books online. For nearly three decades, Bezos served as CEO, guiding Amazon from a tiny startup into one of the most powerful companies on the planet, dominating e-commerce and expanding into countless other industries.
In 2021, Bezos stepped down as CEO to focus more on space projects through Blue Origin and other satellite initiatives. Even so, he still holds the position of Executive Chairman at Amazon. That means many of the company’s biggest strategic decisions still reflect his leadership style and long-term vision.

But this time, Bezos and Amazon may have taken a move that many see as highly controversial, openly challenging Elon Musk’s SpaceX.
On March 7, 2026, Amazon filed a formal petition with the Federal Communications Commission, the FCC, asking regulators to reject a proposal from SpaceX. The plan involves launching up to one million satellites into low Earth orbit, forming what could become a massive orbital data center constellation.
The concept is ambitious. The idea is to process AI workloads and massive computing tasks directly in space, using optical inter-satellite links to create an extremely powerful network operating above Earth.
