Jason walks through every decision on this 1953 F100 performance chassis — and explains exactly why it's built the way it is.

This is FFG's performance spec chassis for 1953-1956 F100s, sitting about 6 inches off the ground and built to handle real power. Jason covers the Gen 4 Coyote and Whipple supercharger setup, how the exhaust is tuned for a truck that people actually want to drive every day, brake proportioning, steering clearance, O2 sensor placement, and a handful of other decisions that most chassis companies never think about — because most chassis companies aren't out here building trucks every week.

That last part matters. A lot of the choices on this chassis came directly from problems FFG ran into on real builds. The exhaust note, the fuel system setup, the way the header is contoured around the steering shaft — none of it's arbitrary. It's stuff that got figured out the hard way so you don't have to.
This chassis is headed to a customer, but if you're working on a 1953-1956 F100 build and have questions, drop them in the comments or reach out directly.
