He Built This Award-Winning 1971 F100 In His Own Garage
Kenneth built this 1971 F100 completely on his own, start to finish, in his home garage. No shop, no crew — just a guy who wanted a Coyote-swapped restomod and refused to wait on anyone else to build it. He brought it to GNF100 in Pigeon Forge and walked away with hardware.
The patina exterior is intentional — Kenneth was going for a truck he could actually drive and enjoy without stressing over every rock chip. Under the hood is a Coyote with a painted engine bay, loomed wiring, and a clean firewall. He used our Wilwood master cylinder kit, steering components, and front end conversion to get the chassis sorted.
Inside is where it really comes together. Kenneth ordered our full Tailor Made interior kit in a two-tone brown, paired it with Dakota RTX gauges, our 67-72 AC valance with burl walnut inserts he stained himself to match the interior, our steering column kit, seat belts, and the wood bed fuel door. The whole cab got repainted eggshell white to tie everything together.
Seeing a customer build a show-winning truck using FFG parts is exactly what this is all about. If you've built a truck with our parts, tag us or reach out — we want to put your build in the spotlight.
