1967 Chevy C10 "Lunar Rock" - Full Custom Build Debut at Dino's Git Down 2025
We're at the 2025 Dino's Git Down with this clean 1967 Chevy C10 that's been getting tons of attention. This is the largest truck show we've ever been part of, and this build represents what FFG is all about— high-end details, thoughtful design, and building something truly one of one but still drivable.

This '67 C10 sits on a Porterbuilt FFG chassis Level 3 with full air ride suspension, powered by a brand new LT4 supercharged motor pushing through a 10-speed automatic transmission. This thing pulls smooth and linear with all those gears, plus you get decent fuel economy when you hit those last four overdrive gears. Wizard radiator with intercooler tanks, Wilwood brake kit system, and everything tucked in nice and clean. When a build looks simple, that means a lot of time and money went into making it look that way.

The exterior is wrapped in classic Toyota gray color (Lunar Rock cement) with off-white top and side trim— we made sure to use a grayer white instead of yellow white so it wouldn't clash. All seams perfectly sealed, drip rails smooth as glass, gaps all dialed in. Rolling on Avant Garde billet wheels, 22s with 12 inch wide in the back and 9 inch in the front. Holly retro Flite headlights with LED lights. Stock mirrors and door handles to keep it classic and clean.

We widened the rear tubs to fit those 12 inch wheels and raised the bed floor so the air suspension has somewhere to go when it lays out. Accuair air management is tucked underneath where you can actually access it— we don't put it on top of the gas tank because you need to be able to get to your fuel pump if something goes wrong.

The handcrafted black limba wood bed was built in house using exotic wood from Africa that has darks and lights in it. We can get wider boards which keeps it cleaner and less busy. Each board takes about 4 hours to custom cut and fit tight around all the body lines. We went with wider planks instead of more boards to avoid busyness in the bed. The whole process involves sanding, staining, sealing, glazing, sanding again, sealing, and clearing. Finished with a satin finish for that elegant, luxury look instead of high gloss marine finish. Video on that wood bed process coming soon.
Inside features our complete FFG custom interior kit with bolstered bench seat, door panels, kick panels, dash pad, and sun visors— you can actually order this kit from us and we'll ship it color matched to your build. Went with plaid inserts that tie into the beige top, giving it life and a vintage feel instead of typical gray or black interiors. Darker stitching with French seams throughout. Dakota Digital HDX gauges in the classic instrument cluster, factory AC vents, push button start, LED dome lights. Everything painted in lower gloss to soften it up and match the finishes. Includes a matching detail bag with Maguiar's care products and microfibers so you can detail at shows. Focal subwoofers and Morell speakers with tweeters, all tuned perfect.

This truck is one of one but still drivable. Not cookie cutter, not a kit, not something anyone else can have. Every decision was intentional— from the wood bed color matching the interior theme to the satin finishes that create elegance. Trucks like this don't happen overnight. They take planning and a lot of decisions along the way to get them looking this good.

Big thanks to everyone who came by our booth at Dino's Git Down. This community is what it's all about— whether you showed up in a truck that barely ran or a full custom build, we're all here for the same love of classic trucks. The trucks are cool, but the people are cooler.
Stay tuned for driving videos, photo shoots, and magazine features on this build.
