Jason takes you on a detailed walkthrough of "The Duomo" - our 1956 Ford F100 panel truck build for Steve Castellano - live from the Triple Crown of Rodding show in Tennessee. This three-generation family truck gets its name from Steve's grandfather, and we're putting the finishing touches on what's becoming one of our favorite panel builds.
Build Details Covered in This Video:

Gen 3 Coyote 5.0L with 10-speed transmission
Currie 9" rear end
Porterbuilt Level 1 chassis for the perfect stance
Custom side-exit exhaust (per Steve's specific request)
Custom burnt orange BASF paint with in-house mixed formula
Bronze fade graphics inspired by Mopar design
Schott wheels with cerakoted accents
Dual A/C system setup (front and rear units)

What Makes This Build Special:
Jason explains how we talked Steve out of the common asymmetrical Mustang-style stripe that's typical on panels, instead creating a unique bronze fade design that gives it a distinctive hot rod look. The custom paint started as Cadillac orange, went through several iterations, and ended up as our own mixed formula using BASF paint with Glazer clear coat.

Interior:
Currently work-in-progress with completed seats, door panels, leather-wrapped dash, and Focal speaker system. Jason shows the custom wood flooring that's going in, plus the dual 8" Focal subs and secondary A/C system in the rear cargo area for maximum cooling.

Show Philosophy:
As Jason explains, "We didn't want to let the show dictate the quality of work that we're doing. We want to dictate the quality of work and then bring it to shows." This truck represents our commitment to finishing builds right, not just getting them to shows.

Timeline:
About 2-3 weeks from completion when this was filmed - carpeting, headliner, and back wall finishing coming soon.

Why Panel Trucks Are Different:
Way more sheet metal to get perfect, longer flowing lines, and nowhere to hide imperfections. This build showcases the unique challenges and rewards of panel truck restoration.
