
Easy Vegetable Fried Rice & Teriyaki Chicken Kebab Recipe
Welcome to my channel! Today, I'm excited to share a mouth-watering recipe for Vegetable Egg Fried Rice paired with Teriyaki Chicken Kebabs. This dish is not only packed with flavor but is also quick and easy to prepare. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion, this recipe will surely impress your family and friends.
Vegetable Egg Fried Rice:
-Jasmine Rice (Instant)
-Chopped Onion
-Carrots
-Minced Garlic (or powder)
-Bean Sprouts (canned or fresh)
-Kikkoman Soy Sauce
-Green Onion (for garnish)
-Brown Sauce for browning the rice
-Oil or Olive oil for frying the rice and veggies
Teriyaki Chicken Kebab:
-Bamboo Skewers
-Chicken Thighs
-Garlic
- Mrs. Dash (Blend)
- Garlic Powder
-Soy Sauce
-Green Pepper
-Onions
Marinade:
-1/2 cup of Teriyaki Sauce
-1/3 cup Hoisin Sauce
- 1 teaspoon of ginger (fresh or bottle)
- 1 teaspoon of Extra Vinegar Olive oil
- Just a pinch of Sesame seeds
-1 tablespoon of Balsamic Vinegar
-Sugar (optional)
Instructions for the Recipe:
Vegetable Egg Fried Rice
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
Cook the jasmine rice according to the package instructions. Chop the onion, carrots, and green onion. If using fresh bean sprouts, rinse and drain them.
2. Cook the Vegetables:
Heat oil or olive oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Add carrots and cook until they start to soften. Stir in the bean sprouts and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
3. Fry the Rice:
Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and add a bit more oil. Add the cooked jasmine rice and spread it out evenly in the pan. Pour in the brown sauce and soy sauce, stirring well to combine. Continue to stir-fry the rice until it’s evenly coated and slightly browned.
4. Add the Eggs:
Create a well in the center of the rice and crack in the eggs. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, then mix them into the rice.
5. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped green onions for garnish. Serve hot alongside the teriyaki chicken kebabs.
Teriyaki Chicken Kebab:
1. Prepare the Marinade:
In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, ginger, sesame seeds, hoisin sauce, balsamic vinegar, and sugar (if using).
2. Marinate the Chicken:
Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces adding mrs dash blend and onion powder please make sure to add as much or little as you like. Place the chicken pieces in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
3. Prepare the Skewers:
Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of green pepper and onion.
4. Cook the Kebabs:
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the kebabs for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
Serve:
Serve the teriyaki chicken kebabs hot, alongside the vegetable egg fried rice.
