This was a spectacular device. It's an analog computer. It doesn't use digital. It uses wheels and gears. This was a device that we wouldn't see again for another 2,000 years until the 1800s. Today, I'm going to be talking about technology. And if you really think about it, technology has been around since the earliest days of man. And with each advancement that's made, society as a whole evolves together. At first, it was something as simple as making wheeled vehicles or learning proper agricultural techniques. But then it became all about making the best weapons, creating ways to make buildings and walls. And then once electronics came along, making things so advanced that humans would take forever to match what they could do. I found to my shock that so many pieces that in my opinion were ancient were not ancient. It was for glory and for cash. In ancient times, technology was only so advanced, and that made things sometimes quite difficult. And yet, there are pieces of technology out there from those periods that are far more advanced than they should have been. So, how does it all work? And what were they able to do?
