Dwarka: The Sunken City of Krishna

An educational historical analysis investigating the legendary submergence of the ancient Indian city of Dwarka as recounted in the Mahabharata epic. The commentary evaluates alternative fringe theories connecting the flooded ruins to the ice age or advanced ancient spacecraft technology, countering these pseudoscientific internet claims with peer-reviewed historical scholarship (7:31). It breaks down multi-decade underwater excavations off the coast of Gujarat and the island of Bet Dwarka, tracking recovered post-urban Harappan lustrous redware pottery, regional tectonic disturbances, and medieval stone jetty structures to assess the factual timeline behind Krishna's lost metropolis (11:08).
