PIT / TVI Maneuver INTO THE CREEK! Pursuit with speeding Nissan Altima and Arkansas State Police

Trooper's Narrative:

On March 2, 2024, I was patrolling United States Highway 49 near Gibbs Road. I observed a blue Nissan Altima (AR: GFCVUX)
traveling at a high rate of speed confirmed with radar at 83 miles per hour in a posted 55-mile-per-hour zone.

I attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle for the speeding violation, and the vehicle began to flee northbound on United
States Highway 49 at speeds exceeding 120 miles per hour. I pursued the vehicle and the suspect driver drove in a manner with
extreme indifference to his safety and the safety of the public. At the intersection of United States Highway 49 and United States
Highway 70, the suspect vehicle turned onto United States Highway 70 at a high rate of speed nearly skidding out of control. The
suspect driver regained control and continued into the city of Brinkley fleeing at speeds exceeding 120 miles per hour in a posted 35-
mile-per-hour zone, at times driving in the oncoming lane of traffic. At the intersection of Main and Cypress streets, the suspect
vehicle turned right and fled eastbound onto United States Highway 70.

The pursuit concluded after I performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) on United States Highway 70 west of Greenlee Park at
Piney Creek. The suspect vehicle traveled off of the roadway to the north and crashed into Piney Creek. I then performed a high-risk
felony takedown, and the three occupants were ordered from the vehicle and taken into custody without incident. The three occupants
were issued a Miranda warning and questioned as to who was driving the vehicle. The driver was identified as (JAQUARRION D.
PLUMMER B/M). The two passengers were identified as (JADEN M. ARNOLD B/M) and (KYRON D
THOMPSON B/M). Plummer was then transported to the Brinkley City Jail.
