Trooper's Report:

On today’s date, I was using my state-issued radar and running front moving radar on U.S. Highway 79 eastbound west of
Marianna. I observed a passenger car traveling westbound at a high rate of speed. I estimated the vehicle to be traveling
between 90-95 miles per hour. I activated my radar and clocked the vehicle with a clear steady Doppler tone at 93 mph.

I turned around, activated my emergency lights and siren, and proceeded to signal for the suspect to stop the vehicle. The
subject passed a vehicle and did not slow down. The suspect then continued westbound on U.S. Highway 79 and turned his
right blinker on to signal he was turning onto Lee County Road 415. After turning onto Lee County Road 415, the suspect did
not give any indication of stopping. Due to the suspect traveling away from the U.S. Highway 79 and posing a substantial risk. I
used a TVI to stop the fleeing suspect quickly.

A felony takedown was performed, and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. A strong odor of intoxicants
was coming from the suspect's breath and determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The suspect, Jimmie
Crawford of Marianna, AR, was transported to the Marianna Police Department and refused all tests that were offered to him.
Crawford became very argumentative once he was taken to the Marianna Police Department.

Mr. Crawford was charged with the following charges:

D.W.I - 1st
Felony Fleeing in a vehicle
Reckless Driving
Refusal to submit to a chemical test
No Proof of Insurance
Violation of Driver License restriction (Corrective Lenses)
Speeding 93mph in a 55mph zone
