I went to grandma's house a few days ago and dugged some taro. I perfered to cook it with napa cabbage and it turned out great. It only needs a little seasoning to make it delicious. It has been rainy recently, and drinking a bowl of hot soup is really heart-warming.

前几天去外婆家挖了一些芋头,我喜欢用它搭配白菜煮特别鲜美,只需要放上一点点调味料就特别鲜美,最近连续阴雨天,喝上一碗真的暖心有暖胃。

Ingredients/材料:
芋艿 300g Toro
水白菜 150g Napa Cabbage
盐巴 适量 Salt
生抽 1小勺 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
辣椒面 1 小勺 1 Tsp Chili Powder
香油 几滴 Few Drops of Sesame Oil
胡椒粉1/4小勺 1/4 Tsp White Pepper Powder
蘑菇粉 1/2小勺 1/2 Tsp Mushroom Powder

Tips:
1. When taro is fully cooked, there will be less mucilage. Don’t be afraid of the sticky part when frying. The soup will have a better flavor with that.
芋头提前蒸熟煮的时候就没那么多黏液了,炒的时候粘锅部分不要怕,那部分煮汤风味更好
2.Stew cabbage for a bit longer, and it will become softer and full of umami.
白菜多炖煮一会,软软的会更鲜美更好吃
