Rare 'Blizzard Warning' issued for Olympic, Cascade mountains Tuesday | ARC Seattle

The official definition of a blizzard is heavy snow with sustained winds of 35 mph or greater and visibility less than a quarter of a mile for at least three hours. These specific criteria will be met in the Cascade mountains on Tuesday as a powerful winter storm impacts western Washington.
