Hi guys,
thank you for watching. My name is Rizal. I am from Indonesia and I am currently living in Taiwan.
If we are talking about food in Thailand, these are food you should never skip.
I have a story, one day, I went to another place, night market to be exact, and I saw mango sticky rice with cheaper price. It’s 50 Baht. Oh no. It looks the same amount as what I ate in the beginning of this video. I thought 70 Baht is cheap already, but turns out…. Haha… Human never feels satisfied 😆 You will always want to find the better one but with lower price. I guess, as an Asian, I am happy if I could find something cheap but has good quality or good taste (if it’s food). Anyway, 70 Baht is still cheap tho. If you go to somewhere very famous, it’ll be at least 100 Baht.
In the next video, I will go to ICON SIAM. Surprisingly, I found the free boat again. Feels so lucky for that. If you want to take this free boat, you might want to check the boat that looks like the one I took in the video.
I would also be happy to hear your experience or opinions about Bangkok. You may share some thoughts in the comment section.
Thank you for watching this video. I will see you on the next episode.
If you like spicy, then it's very good for you.
It feels so refreshing, fresh, so creamy, very good.
If you go to Thailand, there is one food that you cannot miss.
Yeah, it's mango sticky rice. It's a definitely must-eat in Thailand.
The good thing is it's easy to find everywhere with affordable price.
We're gonna pour first.
Somehow I feel it's a lot.
Blending all of them together, it's so rich in taste.
So good.
You will feel the sweetness, the freshness from the fruit and also from the sticky rice.
I really think the key is not only in the mango itself,
but also in the sticky rice and the coconut milk.
So these three ingredients mixing together,
it will create a very delicious mango sticky rice.
Very, very worth to try.
I thought it's only one layer and they give two layers of mango.
Wow, pretty many for 70 baht.
This is very worth it.
I remember I always eat this when I come to Thailand,
but I never feel bored.
Feels so refreshing, fresh, so creamy, very good.
I want to add more sticky rice.
How can I do?
See, I already almost eat all of the sticky rice, but I still have some mango left.
When we talk about Thailand, we should talk about food.
This one, I suddenly found some street food shops.
And I just realized I went here to this area that night when I ate the chicken noodle.
Wow, I buy this and this is chicken hotdog and the color is pink.
This color is pink, it's so special, makes it so special.
Very match your clothes.
How's the sauce taste like?
Spicy or salty?
I was thinking it's gonna be very spicy, but not really.
Not really?
It tastes like lemon sauce or just a spicy fish sauce?
I don't know, it feels a little bit different.
It doesn't taste like spicy fish sauce or neither lemon sauce.
But I think there is a little bit of lemon taste, but not that strong.
Looks delicious.
And only 10 baht, right?
10 baht.
Not so far from the place we tried the sausage before.
Just go straight and then turn right.
I found an alley.
This alley is going to the next place actually.
We see that very iconic building of Thailand.
Still in the same area with the chicken sausage.
This is near Chong Non Si station anyway.
Now we are in one of the famous Som Tam street shop in Thailand.
Som Tam Jei So.
From the name, it's easy to remember, right?
Jei So.
Outdoor.
I mean, it has a rule, but we're actually basically outdoor.
There's no AC.
So hot.
The wind is natural.
Natural hot.
And also it's hot.
It's okay, it's hot.
Fortunately, they have a fan.
I just found out that this shop also sells fish and chicken barbecue.
Smells so good.
Finally, my Som Tam is arrived.
I found lemon here.
I want to press the lemon so that the taste will go out.
I'll mix it together with the peanut.
Oh, they put shrimp on it.
This is a dried shrimp tomato.
Looking so fresh with the soup.
Spicy.
The first taste is spicy.
I think I'm gonna try with the shrimp.
I think eating with the shrimp taste makes the taste even more rich.
And this papaya salad is so crunchy.
And the crunchiness mixing with the soup makes it so, so fresh.
Super spicy.
I have water with me.
But if you add spicy, very spicy, it's gonna be very spicy.
If you like spicy, then it's very good for you.
If you like to eat spicy or just want to challenge yourself,
you could come and order the spicy one.
Here we can eat and drink first.
Then we just tell them what we order and pay before we leave.
This one, the boat that we're going to take is free to go to Icon Siam.
Yes, let's go.
We're lucky to get this.
Okay, we got our boat.
And surprisingly, this boat is pretty much better than the one
that we took yesterday for free to go to Asia Tick.
Yes.
And as usual, every day is so hot.
But it's exciting to try and go to somewhere new.
Okay.
Okay, anyway, I want to ask a question.
Do you think how many phones we can find from this lake, under this lake?
You're asking phones.
I hope, I don't know how many phones, but I hope not this one.
Okay.
Oh, I saw.
Saw a phone?
No, no, no, no.
A fish.
You know, there's a boat just behind you.
And the background is so beautiful.
Let's see.
It's turning back.
We have arrived.
Yes.
Icon Siam.
Almost.
Arrived.
Let's go.
We did all that we could.
Welcome to Chinatown of Bangkok.
