Chao Phraya River is so magical! Why so? It connects many important destinations in Bangkok, and the view is, don’t ask, too obviously beautiful.
I’d like to tell you a secret. Before going back to the center of the city, I met someone who showed me how to get the free boat. Yes, there is a free boat. There is a boat that you can access for free from Asiatique to Saphan Taksin. After you arrive in Saphan Taksin, you can take BTS sky train to go anywhere else. Not many people know about this free boat service. So, you are lucky you read this description. Haha… The boat looks like the one in the end of the video. Not the others. Make sure you take the correct boat if you want the free one.
Even though I went to Bangkok few times before, but this is my first time to visit Asiatique. My first impression? I bet you could tell from this video.
Some of activities you could explore in Asiatique: 1. Sky wheel 2. Mystery House 3. Carousels 4. The Sirimahannop Tall Ship (restaurant) 5. Eating, dining 6. Playing around 7. Shopping (clothes, gifts, anything)

Yup, it's Asia Theatre, the beautiful place facing Chao Phraya River where you can eat, chill and go for shopping.

Actually, this destination is good in the night because basically here is kind of night market but more modern.
Best way to go here is by boat.

And just few steps from here, you will see the carousel.
Suddenly, I remember my childhood life.
It's so good to see the happy vibes here.
Horror, horror game?

Wow, this is amazing. So beautiful.
We can see how big, how giant is it.
Oh, so their rotation is pretty fast.
And compared to the one that we have in Taipei, I think this one is faster the rotation.
Maybe they want to earn more money.
And basically the night market here is the concept is not like the normal night market that we usually see.
So they're more like high quality things.
It looks like branded things, right?
Not always, but there is some food as well. I think it's in the opposite direction.
When you are here, make sure you have enough time.
Because I'm afraid you forget about time.
Trust me, this place is so much fun.
I really feel Asiatic gives another different kind of vibes.
It's a complete area where we can shop, eat and play at the same time.
This time, just imagine I'm a local pilot.
I'm about to bring you to another city by this train.
Anyway, this is a cool place to take some pictures, right?
This time, Disney has some activities.
Who is the fan of Frozen here?

Once we feel tired after a whole day activity, we might want to get some massage.
You probably get used with hand massage.
This time you might want to try the hammer massage here.

There was suddenly a restaurant that got my attention.
It looks unique and they put their menu outside.
Because I'm curious what they sell, then I tried to take a look on their menu.
I kept looking at their menu.
And I think, honestly their presentation here in the menu looks so good.
And the price is not that expensive.
I have never seen squid is cooked with lemon sauce like this.
Usually it's this fish.
If you're a picky eater and you want to keep comparing the restaurants here, trust me.
You might get it harder to choose one because many restaurants here are so interesting.
At the end, I forgot to eat because I kept walking around.
But I found this beautiful boat.
So at first I was thinking this is a normal boat.
But turns out this is also a place to dine in aka a restaurant.
But it's floating on Chao Phraya River.
It's time to leave this place.
Actually, if it's possible then I want to spend more time here.
But we have to go back.
I then went back to the front side of Asia Theatre to find a way how to go back to the center of the city.
I mean, I was looking for a boat that can take me to the city.
I saw some people queuing but actually I'm not sure whether they queued for a boat or not.
I mean, not the restaurant boat.
I don't know.
Why there's no ticket counter?
I'm confused now.
I forgot how to order the ticket, buy the ticket for the boat to go back.
We're lost.
But the music is very cheery up.
Yes, indeed.
Don't give up.
Anyway, I got my boat and it's free.
A kind traveler who is also going to the same destination showed me this boat.
On this trip, actually I met some people, both locals and travelers.
We exchanged stories and experiences.
This is one of the things that I like about traveling.
To meet new people and to experience the different culture in new environment.
Very, very worth to try.
