Building the Log Cabin’s Roof using 17th-Century Method/ DIY

Peter built his 17th-century settler's log cabin a year using the tools and techniques of that time period. His progress is recorded in 40 videos.

In this part, Peter installs the rafters for the cabin’s roof after notching out the main support beam. He sheets the roof with rough-sawn pine planks to prepare the roof for cedar shake shingling.
