The Tree House by Studio Guilherme Torres in Curitiba is a large residential project designed to integrate seamlessly with its forested surroundings, where the existing trees play a central role in shaping the architecture. Instead of clearing the site, the design embraces nature, using exposed concrete and warm wood to create a balance between solidity and comfort, while expansive glass openings strengthen the connection between interior spaces and the landscape. Through layered volumes, fluid circulation, and carefully framed views, the house captures the experience of living among the trees, transforming the idea of a “tree house” into a refined and immersive architectural concept.
