In this video, we will show you the process of renovating Chateau De Lalacelle on day 3. Today's activities include cleaning up the waste pipes, doing some additional digging, and making a batch of the wall-aging mixture.

The chateau is set in northwest France in a little village called Lalacelle.
Built-in the 18th century on the base of a previous chateau, the turret that houses the beautiful spiral staircase was added in the 19th century. Chateau De Lalacelle was owned by a wealthy Parisian carpet dealer and was one of many he owned at the time.

In the summer of 2020, Mr. Waters and his partner Terry Short came across Chateau De Lalacelle and fell in love with everything about it, from its breathtaking, unspoiled interiors to its spectacular spiral staircase in the turret. Unfortunately, Chateau De Lalacelle needs extensive restoration and do-it-yourself work because it has been abandoned for several years. Regardless of the difficulties they confront, they continue to work toward transforming Chateau De Lalacelle into a high-end bed & breakfast for paying visitors.
