We are continuing the series of a family from the North-East of England following their dream to restore a beautiful abandoned French Château. It has been a journey filled with pain and tears. Still, the family has pushed through it all with some stunning outcomes. Today in this episode, the old entrance to the château on the south side of the land will be fully restored.

The chateau is located in northwest France in a little village called Lalacelle. It was built in the 18th century on the base of a previous chateau. However, the turret, a beautiful spiral staircase, was added to the chateau in the 19th century. Chateau De Lalacelle was owned by a wealthy Parisian carpet dealer and was one of his many properties at the time.

In the summer of 2020, Mr. Waters and his partner Terry Short came across Chateau De Lalacelle. They fell in love with everything about the chateau, from its breathtaking, unspoiled interiors to its spectacular spiral staircase in the turret. Unfortunately, Chateau De Lalacelle needs extensive restoration and do-it-yourself work because it has been abandoned for several years. Regardless of difficulties, they continue their work to transform Chateau De Lalacelle into a high-end bed & breakfast for paying visitors.
