The First Two Minutes Matter: Essentials for Surviving a Mass Shooting - Katherine Schweit
Former Chicago prosecutor-turned-FBI agent Katherine Schweit felt called to help mitigate the mass shooting epidemic in America. She is a consultant and the author of several books and explains key methods of preparation and prevention when it comes to school shootings. Katherine also shares good news - school shootings are dropping, and that’s because parents and schools are both taking a more proactive and engaged approach to protecting kids. Following the horrifying shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School all those years ago, Katherine embraced her new mission to help prevent future mass shootings by helping parents and schools know what to do when things go awry and a school shooter attempts to do the unimaginable.
